What television finale (or moments) were you so excited about it was an “Event” for you?

As The Traitors comes to an end this week, I’m meeting my family and we’re going to watch the finale together and have a finale “party” (nice dinner and some wine) as we’re very into it.
It got me thinking about other TV moments that we were so excited to watch that it became an “event” in my house - thinking back to childhood, seeing the conclusion of some soap events (Richard Hillman driving the Platts into the canal, Tracy Barlow’s murder trial outcome, finding out who killed Archie Mitchell). Or back to my teen years and finding out after a long, painful summer who Lucas Scott proposed to in One Tree Hill out of three potential love interests.
The excitement of it all made it become an event in comparison to sitting down for a usual night of telly. What were yours?
