Is Corsair 4000D Airflow a good case in its budget class?

The 4000D Airflow seems highly popular. I think it's #1 computer case on Amazon. What do you think of it? Any others you'd recommend instead in its budget class? I don't care about looks as the computer will live under my desk.

I bought the rgb version on sale, before the recent refresh. On sale, I think it was a good deal, but I believe the price was listed as 150 for MSRP, and at that... its pretty pricey. But for $100, I think I did good. I went with it specifically because it was listed as good for first timers, and had some features to help with cable management and whatnot, and I was not disappointed. I am a little bummed I have the "old model" now, but oh well.

I have the 4000D old model too

Not sure if the model I'm looking at is the "old" model, but they go for $85 now.

I personally think that is a good price. Cheap is good, but you also want something that has some features, IMO. I got the RGP for the contoller and AF120 fans, but now I have 6 RS120's on the way so... coulda saved the money. Oh well.
But I really like the case.

Its a fine case but somewhat unexceptional in it's price class, personally I'd pick something else with more fans pre installed but if you like how it looks it will do fine.

How about Lancool 207? It's got 2x140 and 2x120 fans; so total of 4 fans vs only 2 for 4000D.

That'd be a fine pick. Slightly better thermals than the corsair and you don't need to bring your own fans.

It's a good case, but it's a little small. Some of my psu cables were practically smashed while doing the wiring, granted I have flat cables, but still.
You can fit an rtx 4090 in there.
AMD's larger cards might have some issues though.

Would be nice if I can have the problem of fitting a 4090 into the case :)

It’s a great case. On the wider end but functions very well. And it looks great.
