Well, they're most likely lying in the advertising, I bet it's a 750w motor, with 1200w PEAK POWER, not nominal, & if they lie about something little, they'll lie about something big....
When you pay more for an ebike, you're hopefully paying for after sales support & a warranty for 1-2 years, most these ebike companies are start ups from marketing agencies that jumped into the ebike genre as a cash grab

I thought the same thing til I checked out it on the site. Looks like they upgraded it to a 1200w sustainable with a peak of 1600 watts and a ax speed of 40 mph.

I would not believe any of their marketing claims. Same goes for every Chinese company for that matter. There is inconsistency in every listing they have. It’s kind of hilarious how bad it is. I would only believe it if I saw an *independent reviewer test the bike.

That's a big problem as far as independent reviewers go for these lower end bikes. I used to follow tailhappytv on YouTube but he rarely has anything negative to say which isn't helpful. Right now I typically watch Scott Hardesty on YouTube. He's exactly my size and is very honest about the ebike he is testing.

Someone commented recently on a YT video of mine that Hidoes is now restricting them to 20mph without ability to unlock it. It doesn’t really matter since I have replaced the controller and have a more powerful battery. Hit 37mph on an icy road yesterday, at only 60% charge too. I am also riding on studded tires. It’s a lot of fun. The build is coming along. I would guess that they are paranoid about the Super 73 court case.
