I used to run Alias (CAD) on these in college and later professionally on their bigger brother Indigo 2.
That combo was made famous for creating the Sea Tentacle effect in the Abyss and the T-1000 in Terminator 2.
I was using it for Industrial Design.

I still think the O2 is one of the coolest looking workstations. Also, the rollerball / trackball thing looks interesting.

That's a Kensington Expert Trackball. They still make em.
The current model is functionally and visually identical but uses an optical sensor and is USB/BT wireless-- even looks the same.

Yep. Me too. Old Kensington trackball USB mouse, plugged into the O2 via a USB to PS/2 converter.
