28F looking for ways to connect with other outdoorsy people to hike, camp, climb mountains, explore you get the idea 😌 I plan to do alot of the national parks over the next few years car camping and while I've accepted the idea of doing most of it solo it would still be awesome to connect with people with similar interests along the way. I'm based in the East of England but plan to travel all over! Thanks ✌️

On Facebook, join the groups Tough Girl Tribe, and Love Her Wild. Both active outdoor groups focused on UK women. And also look for your local hiking / climbing club. Lots of those in the UK.

Try HF Holidays. They're a co-operative that own a dozen country houses around the country, all in good walking areas and all set up for walkers - boot washing, drying rooms, packed lunches, the local OS sheetsm, suggested routes, and no fuss if you come back filthy and wet in the evening. You can go in a group with one of their leaders or spend the day out on your own. They don't do camping or climbing but you'll meet interesting people who do.

The best place to find outdoorsy people is outdoors!

Every town has a walking/climbing club- look on the BMC (British Mountaineering Counci) website for affiliated clubs - all are friendly to newbies and members go away more or less every weekend, maybe with a more orgaised weekend once a month. Everyone car-shares.
It is uniquely (!) interesting to do some of the big walks solo, (I did the West Highland Way and Pennine Way solo when I was an older teenager in the 1970s- they were not so crowded then). But it is also lovely to do these things in company.

Hello! I'm also based in the East of England. I'm 31F and my girlfriend is 31F and we both love camping, hiking, fossil hunting, swimming etc. Please feel free to send me a message! We'd love some more friends who are into the same things.

Found this site a couple of years ago and it’s great! You can go on group trips or meet up with local small groups for walks etc https://outdooradventuregirls.com/ . Hope this helps!
