I have a soundbar that only has an optical port, but my new motherboard doesn’t have an optical port at all. I ended up buying an optical-to-USB adapter, but every time I restart my PC (about once a day), I have to unplug the adapter and plug it back in for the computer to recognize it as an audio source. If I don’t do that, Windows simply won’t detect it. I figured you guys might have some useful knowledge, even if this isn’t the right place to ask. Thanks in advance!
