Easy money prep.
-
Have cash on hand
-
Spread your money over multiple banks even if it’s just a small account. One local bank with a branch and one national is a minimum.

No worries, I haven’t kept my money in a bank since the late 80’s.

What do you do if you are comfortable sharing? How do you earn interest, etc? Precious metals purchase of land?
Led_Zeppole_73@reddit
Have done that all through my credit unions.
Additional-War-7286@reddit (OP)
Are you not considering a credit union a bank? I legit don’t really understand the difference because I’ve never used a credit union but I always viewed them as a bank by another name.

I’m a member, and members are part owners. We even have annual catered parties. I also coin roll hunt for silver and they let me dump tens of thousands through their coin counter with no fee.

Tell us again about your money jar, Grandpa!

Money jar, 401k, IRA…diversify young gun. Spread it out, your best bet. Allowed me early retirement in my 50’s.

OP may not have seen that and I just logged in to see this post, not the one 4 hours earlier. So thanks, OP for sharing.
