Would adding an intake fan here improve my cooling setup?

I'm considering adding an Arctic P12 PWM PST fan as an intake at the front of my HP Z240 tower case. The fan would be placed at the bottom front. The front panel has lots of air openings and there’s about 2cm of space between the panel and the case wall for airflow.
Currently, I only have a back exhaust fan. My concern is whether this front case wall might restrict airflow too much. The fan would connect to the motherboards backcase fan header via the P12’s built-in splitter.
What do you think? Would this placement improve cooling significantly, or would the case wall limit its effectiveness? Appreciate any advice :)

can't make sense of that, perhaps it would help to post pics.
are you experiencing overheating issues? how are you monitoring it

Long story short, i bought a pc and it performs really good, since its winter, temps are really good, but when i would reach 100% usage either cpu or gpu, temps would rise a bit but still safe. Im worried about summer, as it gets hot here, so i just wanna improve my airflow a bit.

i'd get a better fan to replace the one that is already in there.
thicker, for instance.
