ULPT: Those annoying spam texts

How can I get revenge on people who send spam texts that say "Hello", "Whats up", etc.? Today's text said "Hey do you still have time to talk to me?" and it came from the phone number (USA) 857-822-8660. I'd text a piss disc or liquid ass if I could...
Secret-Tackle8040@reddit
I send photographs of prolapsed anuses and genital warts.
UndeadKurtCobain@reddit
This just makes me wanna send goatse like my man Comment Etiquette Erik taught me hahaha
Chefboyarrdee@reddit
I'll just send them all the pictures of shirtless old men while I was on my holiday fartcruise.

Things are classic for a reason.

Thank you for your service.

As I understand most of those text are from scam centers in China, so I send the following wall of text, hopefully their government is monitoring. I've never gotten a response and the number of those texts I get has dropped significantly since I started sending this back to them.

I love the sentiment but isn’t it likely that the great firewall of China just blocks it and the receiver never sees the message?
MukLegion@reddit
Perhaps but I used get those texts like weekly and now I can't remember the last time I received one. So maybe sending this got me put on some kind of blacklist
ThrowRASkee5555@reddit
Explanation?
MukLegion@reddit
It's all stuff the Chinese government wouldn't like people saying or communicating about online. So responding with this they don't it on their phones, they don't want to be flagged or something.
ThrowRASkee5555@reddit
I thought so. But why winnie the pooh and nobel peace price?
MukLegion@reddit
Winnie the Pooh is a nickname for president Xi Xinping that he hates so much Winnie the Pooh is banned/censored in China.
Don't know about the nobel Peace prize part
Acrobatic-Living-315@reddit
this works so well istg scam texts barely come up anymore
Straight_Honey_5706@reddit
I respond with a photo of an “inny-penis” https://images.app.goo.gl/tbqhhU3eYSZqpRqCA

The arrow is the final indignity
Straight_Honey_5706@reddit
Google it if you don’t know…
bluffstrider@reddit
I recently learned that they use those texts to find active numbers they can use to spoof so they can scam people. The best way to get revenge is to not respond at all.
Cream4389@reddit
i don't respond EVER but they still come in nonstop from all different numbers
MrKittenz@reddit
Maybe they really are trying to get ahold of you!
thebladeinthebush@reddit
Normally I send a bunch of swear words in Indian and block.
wronganswerzonly@reddit
Hmmm…I was told that there really aren’t any sweat words in Cherokee. You can call someone a body part or a color or an animal ( skunk and buzzard come to mind) but that’s about it. Maybe Apache?
greasyjimmy@reddit
Poindexter was able to tell the Alpha Betas to 'bite his crank' in Seminole, so there's that.
OldERnurse1964@reddit
Red Dot, not Casino
thebladeinthebush@reddit
When was the last time you got a scam call or text from a Cherokee. They don’t need your money they’ve got casinos and reserves
Skeggy-@reddit
I think Indians from India is what was meant. Since India is known for scam/call centers.
CharlieKellyDVMESQBL@reddit
I think they knew that. Check out the username.
Skeggy-@reddit
I got got. Straight up bamboozled.
Active-Yogurt-8887@reddit
Don't reply, that tells them that your phone number is valid, and will lead to additional spam texts from others who are all using and sharing datasets. Best to just block and move on.
99mushrooms@reddit
Is scammers. Block and report.
Bright_Crazy1015@reddit
Copy the message and forward it via sms to 7726.
Report it to reportfraud.ftc.gov
Report the message inside your messaging app, then block it. Alternatively add it to a block list on an app that blocks spam calls. You can find resources at ctia.org
Unfortunately, that number is very likely spoofed or a burner. It's unlikely to actually be the scammer's real phone number, and may actually belong to someone else. Scammers typically use a program to alter the SMS sender ID info, they may also include a real name and employ personal details (DOB, address, names of personal connections) associated with a phone number using resources like MyLife, or Spytox, etc.
Replying to them or opening any links sent is counterproductive and may allow for malware on your devices, so my recommendation is to report it, forward it, block and delete.
OwlieSkywarn@reddit (OP)
I never reply 👍
FilthyDogsCunt@reddit
Just get them off script and replying to you and waste their time until you get bored, time they spend texting you is time they're not spending scamming someone's Grandma.
OwlieSkywarn@reddit (OP)
I would if it were a phone call. Actually I'd blast them with my air horn heh heh
TroutMcGhee@reddit
I find the hottest trans woman with the biggest slong and repeated keeping sending it until I’m blocked
newnamesameface@reddit
"Thank you for subscribing to Bible verse of the day. Your phone bill will be charged $9.99 weekly. Have a blessed day"
Then follow up with a verse
HerpesIsItchy@reddit
This is brilliance. Brava
WhyteBoiLean@reddit
Just text STOP and it makes it harder for them to use that number in the future. You can also learn to swear in different languages, like Yoruba. “Alaye mumu Ogun thunderfire you”
Ok-State-9968@reddit
Whenever they ask for someone, by name, I reply with something like this:
"This is the FBI - Jeremy was arrested earlier after being wanted by the Interpol and the Chinese Police. Make it easier on yourself by telling us your last name."
Either they're flustered and apologize or I never hear back from them again.
Skeggy-@reddit
Don’t say bye and block them.
They will be so upset you never said goodbye.
