CPU cooler help

Hello guys I recently got a ryzen 9 5950x… I had to get a micro atx motherboard so that i could use the same case that I originally had for budget reasons. I ended up getting the b550m steel legend. After a week of waiting for the motherboard it finally came in and I was so excited until I saw 80c for cpu temperature. Since then I have been ordering cpu coolers that say they work on pcpartpicker just for the brackets to be out of line with the holes on the back of the b550m steel legend. Does anyone know any cpu coolers strong enough to cool the ryzen 9 5950x while still fitting into the steel legend?? Thanks!

Most AM4 coolers don't use their own backplates, they screw into the stock AM4 backplate. Make sure you're using the AMD mounting instructions for the cooler. The B550 Steel Legend doesn't have any weird clearance issues, nearly any AM4 CPU cooler will work. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu-cooler/#c=33&sort=price&page=1
Of course for a 5950X I would recommend at least a dual-tower cooler like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit / Peerless Assassin. Which CPU cooler do you have on it now?
