What part of my setup do I need to upgrade to be able to run siege at stable 240hz/1080p and which exact products do I need to buy?
My current setup:
Monitor Zowie XL2546X 240 hz
AMD Ryzen 5 5600
AMD Radeon RX 6700XT
MSI B550 Gaming Carbon Wifi
3600 C18 Series DDR4
Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB
be quiet PURE POWER 11 600W
ingamesettings:
1080p / 4:3 stretched
everything low or off, except for shadows on High and LOD Quality set on Ultra
Explanation of my current situation:
Since the start of this season, I'm noticing very unstable and overall low average FPS in R6S ranging from 130 to 400, with default being prob slightly below 200. I already tried everything possible, to change that on my end, but I guess with the latest integration of cross play, the new version is probably just not optimized at all and I can only fight bad software with overkill hardware. It's Ubisoft after all...

It sounds like you are playing at a res less then 1920x1080, because of this a cpu upgrade will be the best. I would get a 5800x3d chip, or if you want something cheaper the 5700x3d or 5600x3d would be good too!

I went and bought a 5700x3d, since I couldn't get a new 5800x3d and so far it seems to have fixed my problem. Thank you very much!

Glad to hear it helped!

Ah, so a cpu upgrade is enough to fix my issue? That would be amazing, cuz I got no need for more power besides stability in R6.

Sidenote, benchmarks for this came became utterly useless, since they no longer reflect the actual games performance at all.
