MX Record not propagating from Route53

Howdy, and apologies if this is the wrong subreddit.
We have a domain, and receiving mail broke. I tracked it down to non-propagating MX record (according to dnschecker.org )
I worked with Google to update the MX record and add some TXT entries, but still no propagation, then went through the Workspace tool to enable, still nothing.
I do not have DNSSEC enabled, and there are no keys there.
Also noticed dig referencing bodis.com, which is some parking site (according to google). Google said this is normal, but a 2nd opinion is welcome.
Dig output:
$ dig
netalignment.com
MX
; <<>> DiG 9.18.28-0ubuntu0.22.04.1-Ubuntu <<>>

Thank you, and good day.

correction, you HAD a domain.
https://www.whois.com/whois/netalignment.com
Khaosus@reddit (OP)
And it shall be mine once again!
I updated the payment info with the registrar after a lot of misinformation from the client and some MFA hurdles.
Zealousideal_Yard651@reddit
looks like you didn't pay for your domain and your domain has been hijacked.
Go to the webpage netalignment.com
Khaosus@reddit (OP)
OMFG, apparently the previous guy had it on his personal credit card and it expired.
I seriously didnt think there wasnt payment.
chuckbales@reddit
If netalignment.com is your real domain, either its expired at your registrar or your registrar's nameserver records are messed up, lookups for the NS record for that domain isn't coming back with anything
Is your DNS supposed to be hosted by Route53?
Khaosus@reddit (OP)
Yeah, client says its hosted by Route53.
chuckbales@reddit
They need to confirm everything is square with the registrar for that domain to make sure its paid up and the name-server records are correct.
Layer7Admin@reddit
If that is the real domain name I'd be more concerned that Name Cheep seems to think the registration is expired.
