Hey!
Trying to troubleshoot this one
This started happening recently (on our high power users of course). we are at 3 now.
Using New Teams.
Lenovo T16
Win 11 Pro 10.0.26100 and 10.0.2263
Microphone stops working in teams.
Microphone works fine in Zoom
Microphone works fine in Teams if it is launched from the web
but, does not detect any sound, from the Teams app.
We have been banging our heads on this one... and of course it is not happening on all computers, so every time we try something, we are bothering these user, and of course two of the users still have their old Dell Win PC... and works fine there
Anybody else have the same issues, and more hopefully, a solution?
Thanks!

It’s not Lenovo, but Dell just downrev’d the Realtek high definition audio drivers for this exact reason. The bad version was 6.0.9706.2. The working version in the latest updated driver pack from a few days ago has 6.0.9676.1

Did you allow new teams app in the microphone privacy settings? It might have the browser and zoom allowed but not teams app.

Checked that, it is enabled :(

I've encountered this a handful of times and was able to resolve by going into advanced sound settings within windows and disabling audio enhancements as well as unchecking the box that grants apps exclusive access.
