Shave ~$10 by going with a Thermalright Assassin X/King/Spirit 120 cooler instead of the Hyper 212, and see if you can find a sale on DDR5-6000 CL30 for ~$120.
Or use the $10 to get a 2TB Patriot P400 Lite NVME SSD from Amazon instead of that SATA SSD.

think this would work for ram?

It'll work but the latency on that set is pretty bad. YMMV on whether it'll noticeably affect performance for you.
Ideally CL30 or CL32 are fastest. CL36 should also be fine if you can't squeeze the former into your budget.

zephyrinthesky28@reddit
It should, but I'm not sure why it's just a single memory module instead of the typical pair.
You can consider something like this: https://www.newegg.ca/team-group-32gb-ddr5-6000/p/N82E16820985077?Item=N82E16820985077&SoldByNewegg=1

There's a pair here:

Those would be good to go!

Thanks so much for your help! Is it better to pay extra for a NVME SSD or keep the SATA SSD?
zephyrinthesky28@reddit
For the same price and quality tier, I'd go with NVME SSDs.
NVME is much faster and doesn't require power cables.

It should. The Kingston NV2 (the NV3's predecessor) has a reputation for premature failure though FWIW.

Ok I'll look for a new one

Personally I'd see if you could save a bit more and upgrade the CPU to the new gen Ryzen 5 9600x.
Also, that GPU is about to be 2 gens old. Get a 7 series or wait and see what the next gen (launching very soon) prices are.
I'd also swap the PSU out for a similar PSU from Corsair, EVGA, Silverstone or Superflower (probably not superflower they're mad expensive)
