Does the Asus Maximus VIII Ranger have a free TPM 2.0 Slot?

Hello guys,
I recently delved into the whole TPM2.0 thing becosue of Windows 11 and Vanguard.
Form my current standpoint i would have to stay on Windows 10 or get a TPM 2,0 adapter for my Board , sicne my CPU does have PTT from Intel but my Board does not Show/support the option to enable it.
But im bot really that great with computers so i wanted to ask more knowledgable peoplse some questions.
Does my Board even have the right Slot for a TPM 2.0 Module?
Is it plug and play or do i have to activate something in my BIOs?
Does it even make sense to buy a TPM 2.0 module?
I sadly cnat really upgrade my CPU/Motherboard becouse it would simply be to epxansive.

DONT GET W11!!! Why would you want W11??? Stay with windows 10 until they stop supporting it, by that time hopefully you can just upgrade your computer or something but fr just stay on W10 its "the last os you'll need" or was that 7...

The last windows you will ever need was said by a guy who microsoft fired. Windows 11 is great in a lot of ways, and windows 10 will be a hazard to yourself soon.
The better recommendation is to switch to linux.

Won't matter if you put a tpm card in that board, it has zero CPUs that support windows 11.
I tried already about a year ago, if it's not 8th gen or newer it will refuse to install and you won't pass the windows 11 ready rest.

According to the user manual it seems to have a 14-1 tpm slot available. ASUS has a discrete TPM that should work. Something like this. Make sure to purchase one that has the same pinout as the board. Everyone uses a different pinout, but the one I linked is the correct pinout.

You would need to plug in the module and then enable in the BIOS.

Will the option then show up in the BIOs? Right now i dont have any TPM relates option. Sorry if thats a shupid question.

You might want to do a BIOS update. Under your BIOS configuration in the TPM there should be an option to enable the dTPM regardless of if you have one or not. It's possible it will not show up once the pins are populated but I do not know.
