Back then I don't think they had very big houses so probably not any guest rooms either. Sometimes you just had to sleep in the barn. Does anyone know whether hay actually IS comfortable to sleep on? I wonder, where did Xena and Gabrielle stay when they visited Cyrene in her Inn, if it wasn't full and there were plenty of bedrooms.
