Household fixes, cars, etc. any one ultimate book?
Shoddy-Ingenuity7056@reddit
I’m not sure about one book, but the foxfire series might be right up your ally.
Note to the moderators watching: I am not a foxfire, I do not maintain any relationship to the foxfire’s either personal or in business. I receive no compensation from view or sale of these books. I am but a lowly Reddit Prepper or Re-pper (pr-edditor seem to aggressive). Please don’t ban me, I like it here.

Anyone digitized the foxfire series? Id love to get a copy of them

Yeah I would definitely avoid calling myself a pr-edditor

Build a library. There isn't one book just like there isn't one piece of equipment. When something breaks, fix it and you'll have a bunch of tools in no time. Be your family's handy man. Accept payment in tools and experience. YouTube is a great resource for the basics of everything from plumbing to electrical to auto repair.

This sounds a lot like hidden advertisement. Let's see how this topic goes. Moderators are watching.

Mods back to treating OP poorly, I see. https://old.reddit.com/r/preppers/comments/1hpbqv0/any_way_to_sterilize_gauze/m4gceyf/

To be fair he'd be less suss if he'd bothered to make a post worth reading

Dude is an active poster on the sub… not in the comments but actually posts questions, very specific questions. Dont think big brother needs to watch this one.
chellybeanery@reddit
Idk about one book consolidating that stuff, but I download the entirety of wikipedia and other archives and keep it on a spare laptop. I got the how-to from This Video.

New to prepping but I’m looking to do something similar to what you have / what OP wants. A thumb drive with all the knowledge I can use to “restart” in a worst case scenario. No idea how to go about it but downloading Wikipedia seems like a great start. A lot of cool tips in the comment section of that video too lol. How big is it out of curiosity?
chellybeanery@reddit
Wikipedia alone wasn't actually too bad, I think it's a little over 100g! You can definitely fit it all onto a thumb drive and check out some of those other archives, too. You just need to have a machine that has the software necessary to read the files. That's important.

Never seen one like this.

I just happen to be making one... For the low low price of 59.99 I'll make YOU one too +s/h
Seriously lots of book threads here already, haven't seen anyone mention one giant best book.
infinitum3d@reddit
59.99 sounds like a steal.
pinewoods_ranger@reddit
Downvoted because everybody bought all their books in 2003 for $12.99 at a gun show

I keep meaning to buy the Survivor Library and print it out (just google it, I won’t link it here. I’m not affiliated with them at all, just came across it a few months ago).
