I’ve got the best gaming set up

I live in mine for like 6 months+ at a time. I had a mid roof sleeper I lived in since May of last year, just got rid of it and upgraded to a much bigger Peterbilt, I'm about to be living in luxury.

Gotta buy the map packs. Last I heard they were working on adding Arkansas or Missouri I think. I played it pretty heavily back when it first came out and I've kept up with the map packs but I haven't really played it much since, its just no fun doing your job as a game.

I did that with my desktop for a little bit, just became a pain in the ass and ended up buying a top of the line laptop which was so much better, even when I’m not in the truck I can throw it in a backpack and game anywhere as long as I have access to a couple outlets

Check my comment below, it seems you mistook the monitor for being in my lap, it’s mounted on the wall with an articulating arm. I had to install that arm myself as the truck did not come with a tv mount

It’s seems that people have missed that the monitor is mounted to the wall not in my lap, the only thing in my lap is the wood board with keyboard and mouse.

I’ve found the wood board is great because it’s the perfect size for my 17 inch laptop so I can bring it anywhere and have a table with mouse space where ever I go. The monitor is on an articulating arm that can swivel and rise up and down. This way if I want to watch movies or YouTube I can rotate it to the foot of my bed and lay down normally as well as have it upright and close for gaming

Look up the couch master, it’s a desk for your lap that your legs can fit under. Also, to give yourself more space, I would recommend looking up how to mount your monitor to the wall of your truck at the foot of your bed. It can be done without drilling anything into the truck. That way you can stretch out and relax instead of being stuck in the corner.

My apu isn’t working properly so idk if it would be enough, right now I just idle while I’m playing but most inverters absolutely can handle it.

When I had a Volvo it came with an 1800 watt inverter and I put a 1000w inverter in my KW both ran it just fine although 1000w is about the lowest I’d go

Interesting. I guess that makes sense, if you're running a 1000 watt or less PSU an equivalent inverter would handle it. I've just got my steam deck hooked up to a TV. Maybe I'll upgrade 🤔

I refused to not game 4090 on the road which pretty much meant i setup moonlight on my Nvidia shield in the truck, and sunshine off github on my 4090 pc at home and just game streamed to it.

Biggest issue was latency with tmobile home, but it got the job done and no pc in truck at all lol

I have a dinette in my Cascadia. Set my 27” monitor on the table. Laptop stays on top of the 3.1 cubic ft fridge. I have a wireless Corsair K63 lap board I put on the table and a Logitech wireless G502 mouse. Very comfortable for a few hours of gaming. I’m much more comfortable with my feet on the floor.

It’s through a Verizon business account, I’ve got 2 lines a phone that gets me a 40$ discount and the actual router, it totals to 70$ a month, combine it will a cell booster which is around 500$ and you have internet pretty much anywhere

Just set it up, this cascadia didn’t come with a tv mount so I had to get creative. So far so good… enough temperpedic pillows and a boulder is comfortable
