Im located in the US ,have a 3060 dual mini gpu and wanna put 32 gb ram in a mini build. All I do is play video games but dabble in some light editing if I want to make funny images of my friends and what not.

I’m stuck between the ryzen 7 7700x and the 7 5800x

The 5800x still seems to be a pretty beefy processor at the beginning of 2025

Im wondering if I should consider something newer like the 7700x to get am5 socket

Regardless, it has to be able to go on an itx mini mobo to fit my setup In the case I want.
