Most of the e-bikes I've seen tested by bikepackers on YouTube were upwards of $2,000 which is more than I'm able to justify spending. I don't have a specific budget nor do I know how low these types of bikes go without settling for disreputable manufacturers.

I'm not a believer on riding with a cheap bike with a heavy load out into the boondocks. I prefer something dependable.
