In addition to this, I (like many others) spent the COVID years panic buying everything I felt like I needed at inflated prices, then I spent another year or two filling in whatever gaps I still saw. I’m not completely done buying gun shit, because I never will be… but all the big purchases and the stockpiling are already done. For me to buy something now, it’s gotta be either a genuinely innovative product, or a screaming deal on a legacy product, and unfortunately for sellers, neither of those are particularly easy on business. On top of all that, with the new administration incoming and gun rights under significantly less of a threat than they’ve been for the last four years, I don’t expect demand overall to surge any time soon.

I feel bad because I’m sure small retailers are hurting right about now, and as much as I’d love to help y’all out where I can, I can’t be spending money on lukewarm-at-best deals on shit I don’t need, just to help keep your lights on.
