Navient Account says “closed” on credit report….Anyone else?

So I just checked my Experian report and it says my student loans are closed and the total balance now says $0. And no my account is not in AidAdvantage. I am in one of the states on the list and I did attend one of the schools (Nossi) that was listed as well in the settlement. Is this what that means? Since it’s closed will it fall off my credit report?

If they are federal loans, Navient has sold those loans to Aidvantage. There’s usually a month or two where the loans will report as closed before they pop up again with the new servicer.

I have 3 navient accounts that have been closed since aug and sep of 2019, and jan 2021, as per credit karma. This week I received 2 bills, for the 2 2019s from asset recovery solutions, llc, which I've found info online to be a scam. all three loans were taken in 2007 and 2008. It's interesting that roughly 4 yrs after 2 of the loans were closed, I'm now hearing from a collection agency, but not the 3rd. Something smells really bad.

Did you ever get anything else out this? I know this old.. same boat, last payment March 2019. Charge off 2021.. got a few “settle now” letters- if I had a lump sum that large I would have made payments, got asset recovery solution last week stating they are trying to collect.
