The Yamaha eBikes are gone, yeah?

I've been looking every where, in state, out of state, 3rd party sellers. Nothing. I'm too late to the party aren't I...
tinfang@reddit
$3499 Levo comps coming soon. Hold on.
bulldozer6@reddit
Some dealers still have them. Check marketplace. We bought one at the wrong size we're trying to sell on there. About five miles on it. I'm sure there are others doing the same

I've looked, found 1 crosscore and one wabash rt, both large and I have a 30.5 inch inseam. Neither are responding though.
pdp_11@reddit
You need to grow a couple inches to fit a large.
beboppinbot@reddit
Place in Burnsville Minnesota where I got a crosscore rc for gf still has some in stock, eco fun Motorsports. Might just be large in stock
DangerousAd1731@reddit
Big question is who's going to fix them
Cute_Witness3405@reddit
Regular bike shops for the regular bike parts, Yamaha dealers otherwise. It’s not like Yamaha is going out of business or exiting the ebike component business. They just aren’t going to sell their own branded bikes in the US anymore.
WisenheimerJones@reddit
They're only sticking around for the next 5 years for warranty repairs. Not for aftermarket sales. And good luck getting a warranty issue handled at a dirt bike shop.
Cute_Witness3405@reddit
Bike will be out of warranty by then. Do many companies transfer warranties on resale? At least I’m fortunate to have a good local dealer.
WisenheimerJones@reddit
Yamaha is the only brand I've dealt with in my 32 years in the bike biz that transfers warranties. The dealer needs to do that for you, though. And it's a royal PIA.
reallyfrikkenbored@reddit
I have a Crosscore rc that I picked up during the sale and follow r/yamahaebikes. From what I’ve seen dealer support is terrible and folks are on their own.
WisenheimerJones@reddit
Gone except for motorsports shops and warranty service. Trust me, though. You don't want one. They're ok bikes at best. The drive system is fantastic, but the bike design, geometry and sizing is at least 10 years behind the rest of the industry.
RedRiptor@reddit
Yamaha powertrains lives in GasGas e-bikes and they are awesome!
Shoehorse13@reddit
Yep those bikes went fast once the word got out. Rode my Wabash in to work today and can not believe I got that bike at that price. Now just waiting for my second battery to show up.
Outside_Brilliant945@reddit
I was too late for the extra battery, but still think I got a good deal on my Wabash.
Dry-Neck2539@reddit
Why, do you want to buy a Yamaha e bike?
jedielfninja@reddit
Half price clearance i believe
Dry-Neck2539@reddit
Lol I love it
jedielfninja@reddit
Looked like an amazing bike i would have gotten one if i hadnt built a beast already.
Snarkosaurus99@reddit
Yes. And based on some users experiences, you don’t want one. Yamaha seems to be less than eager to help.
Cute_Witness3405@reddit
Can you be specific? Very a happy with mine.
Snarkosaurus99@reddit
Just regarding warranty claims. The bike itself is good. It seems since Yamaha pulled out of US ebike market, they will not promptly ship parts and some powersports dealers are refusing to service.
Cute_Witness3405@reddit
Oh that makes sense. Their parts department has always been a shitshow.
Surprised at the dealers refusing service though- at least when they started out they were actually paying dealers for warranty work.
Miserable_Cost_2136@reddit
That's a bummer. Doesnt seem to live up to the quality of the Yamaha name.
Ckuela@reddit
I had my Crosscore RC stolen last week… I’m really sad !
MickyBee73@reddit
Damn, that sucks...feel for you e-brother
Pittsburgh_Photos@reddit
Dude why would you want an ebike from a company that is not selling them anymore. Maybe in the short term they’ll be offering some support on these bikes but in the long term things will start to break and parts will become harder and harder to find. Go with a bike a more reputable ebike motor brand like Bosch, Shimano, or Bafang.
O2C@reddit
Even these discontinued Yamaha ebikes have their fans because the value of the build is easily two to three times the discounted price. The consumables like pads, chains, and cassettes are easy to replace. The battery and motor shouldn't have issues until years down the line -- an eternity for most. Plus most buyers of a complete ebike, especially in this price range, aren't going to replacing the motor or battery when it goes bad. Those riders are more likely to just replace the entire bike when it comes time.
Fit-Macaroon5559@reddit
Yes they all gone ,the Yamaha mid drive motors are excellent got 5000 miles on mine and still going strong!
No_Warning_4346@reddit
Just when I decided to buy an ebike, I found the Yamahas, I contacted numerous dealers and they all told me they were all sold out nationwide.
XxGAMERZxKINGxX@reddit (OP)
Same boat man, wasted my time buying an ebike from a POS company that put me through hell. All that time, I could've found out about yamaha instead. BUT the most recent sale I heard from all the dealers was back in early December, so I would've already been out of luck.
Delicious-Length7275@reddit
Look at ebikes on upway.co they have some good quality brand name machines for a really cheap price.
No_Warning_4346@reddit
I ended up going the opposite direction somewhat and bought a Lectrick Expedition Cargo bike which I think was a better choice for me anyways. I saved a lot of money as well going this route.
Frosty1887@reddit
I have some dealers in Colorado that still have the 05 for sale, let me know and I can ship one your way for cost.
Comfortable_Layer412@reddit
Call dealers. I found a Moro 5, 7 and pro in large about a week ago. All demo bikes that looked pretty much brand new. My friend bought the 7. But you can’t get them for the super discount that they had with the free battery. Just the 60% off on the website. Plus a little off for being a demo.
iH8MotherTeresa@reddit
I'm probably looking to get rid of a small crossfire in white.
idsnowghost@reddit
People are still finding 05s on the Facebook Moro group.
DarkVoid42@reddit
long gone.
