I bought this same gun new at academy for $163.99
I’ve been seeing a thing where used guns are like twice the damn price of new ones anywhere online w h y????
SamPlantFan@reddit
ive seen guns that are at exactly brand new MSRP for like $800, usually sold on many popular and well known sites for under $600 brand new, and easily avaliable with every site and store having stock of them, being sold on guns dot com for $1300 used and it comes with a free amazon red dot and a chinese foregrip. what a deal

Please tell me what website you can find decent deals on
CZFanboy82@reddit
You can sift through all the different sellers on GunBroker or GunDeals, etc. I tend to just go directly to Family Firearms or Bud's Gun Shop, as they seem to have the best prices, generally. I've bought from both, and picked them both up within a week at my FFL.

just look up on google the gun you want + gundeals and itll take you to the gundeals website, which shows you what store has stock of the gun, and what price theyre at on the site. Look into the sites first on reddit, especially on r/gundealsFU to see if theyre good or not. a few like battlehawk armory, Dahlonega armory, etc. while not *actual* scams, tend to have really bad CS, extremely long shipping times, non existant return policies, etc. but they usually list the absolute cheapest prices by like $20-$30 so they always show up at the top.

Mine was $120 5 years ago

Dude, I got the Academy Black Friday deal, the Rough Rider revolver with the Texas Star wood grips for $104.99, then sent in for the $25 rebate thru Taurus!
It was too good to pass up!
I love shooting mine. It's so fun, and it has been my and my friends' favorite I bring every time.
But not on sale, they list for like $199 new at Academy... so people are crazy and list used for slightly less.
The pawn shops are crazy too... I stopped in one yesterday and looked at a used Walther PPK. They had it tagged $750... a couple of weeks ago at Bass Pro Shop, they had new ones on sale for $699, but not on sale, $899... so everyone seems to go check prices at the most expensive big box stores, then sets their used price slightly lower I guess.

Because people are stupid and think their shit is worth waaaaay more than it is.
i-love-Ohio@reddit
I’ve only gone to one gun show in my life, hated it because people were selling things way over MSRP. Even that little wire gun .22 was selling for $400
Baggss02@reddit
I’ve been to guns shows all over the country over the last 30 or so years. They used to be good, one could find some sweet deals and even buy firearms for cash face to face. Since Covid they’ve mostly gone to shit. The Feds have scared the crap out of people regarding background checks and people now think their pos gun and their ancient ammo are worth their weight in gold or some shit.
lone_jackyl@reddit
I've seen these for 99 bucks on psa
Crawfisha@reddit (OP)
If I could send images I have a the ones PSA sells being sold for 190 bucks
lone_jackyl@reddit
They came with free cylinders to
Crawfisha@reddit (OP)
Came with the 22 mag cylinder? Damn I shoulda got mine there and replaced the grips
lone_jackyl@reddit
Yeah. During the promo. They may still be running it
gallo_malo@reddit
I bought 3 during the promo last year. When I went online to get my free mag cylinders, the website said the offer wasn't valid in Texas.
lone_jackyl@reddit
Nice backup shtf pistol.
gallo_malo@reddit
I bought them as Father's Day gifts.
Crawfisha@reddit (OP)
It’s like 130 now
lone_jackyl@reddit
Crawfisha@reddit (OP)
It says 129.99 for me weird
Crawfisha@reddit (OP)
Exactly
mobilecorpsesuit@reddit
Even my LGS has these regularly for like 160
I-burn-metal@reddit
Thats not even that bad, some clowns think a beat up Yugo SKS in a Tapco stock is worth $900.
Be0wulf04@reddit
I payed $115 for the case hardened version with the .22 mag cylinder.
Rackbaw@reddit
I scooped up 5 of these some Black Friday a few years back. Felt so cool having family open them on Christmas
Rackbaw@reddit
But yea, I’d buy a hi point before I’d buy one of these at that price.
MotivatedSolid@reddit
thats guns.com for ya lol. they're kinda a joke and rarely have reasonable pricing
AlphaTangoFoxtrt@reddit
The value of a good is what people are willing to pay for it.
Either people will pay that price, or the store won't sell them and they'll sit collecting dust.
LordQuackers83@reddit
Dunham's has them on sale somewhat often for $100
