Thinking about becoming a pilot.

Hello! I am a 19 year old m studying by second year after high school and I am thinking about becoming a commercial pilot but I do not know if it is worth it or not knowing that I am very passionate about aviation and I want to be part of it. But don't know if it is better for me to be an aeronautical engineer or any other job. I just want to ask if there any pilot here to tell me their experience with this job, does it get exhausting after a long while? Does it cause burnout after many flights? Do you think AI will replace pilots in the future?

Sorry.

Be nice to the OP. They are interested and excited about the possibility of becoming a pilot. It is a very common question here and some people here get tired of seeing it. I don't know why they don't just click on to the next article without having to say their thing, but whatever.
I love flying and I love the job. It is a lifestyle, as you will often be gone working during holidays and weekends. Sometimes it is nice to be working weekends, sometimes you wish you were home, for many different reasons. But as other have said, try some Google Fu and you will find this same question asked and answered in great detail.

Don’t apologise, but do actually put some effort into researching things yourself. There are answers to all your questions and more already out there.

Go browse r/flying, it’s a better sub to find pilots over aviation enthusiasts. That being said, it’s a great career but you will pay your dues before you get to one of the top jobs. It’s a grind like any other career but once you make it, you’ll make a ton of money and have a ton of time off.

AI, doubt it. The rest of your questions are plastered all over the Internet, read up. Also YouTube "day in the life of a pilot". Tons of info out there already.
