Yup. Off-road vehicle that gets to 50 pretty quick once a wires been cut.
They’re not made here. Coming from china. Not that any of that matters because nobody cares about anything nowadays. 😭
I don't think thats the issue. I ride a regular bike, max i can do its 12 miles an hour. Yeah my point is just that in the scale of felonies giving a hooker some money to stay quiet ain't the worst thing I can imagine. Clinton getting his dick sucked and doing funny shit with a cigar in the Oval Office and Biden just letting his son off the hook for whatever crime he has done for the last 10 years heh. These people do a lot of weird shit, so I don't really consider him paying a hooker some money from the wrong account that, so that I would be traced back to him? Guess that was the idea? That’s the entire epitome of the grand scheme of things. If people in power did what he did, they would be fined or in jail, per law and order. This is not news. Every major news organization has covered this since 2017. Google it.
A friend in the UK got absolutely mangled because a car pulled out on him without looking. Hit the car and went over the top of it. The driver admitted to the police she'd not looked.
Her charge... £300 fine paid to him.
His bike alone was £3k. He was off work for 9 months and it was even longer before he was able to run or ride a bike.
He's rich. He'll get off with a couple of hours of community service, which he won't attend, the courts will follow up once by calling him and then the whole thing will get dismissed.
As we in the colonies are learning, watching the mother ship devolve into chaos, all it takes is killing the right wealthy person in vehicular manslaughter to get the laws changed.
Maybe, if you just happen to have a connection to your target and don't care about getting caught. As a rando you're gonna have a challenging time (to say the least) trying to track down someone like that and catch them out in the open / vulnerable. It's possible to kill someone in a car at lower speeds, but less likely - the bigger and faster your vehicle, the better (you'd want to be going at least 40mph, since 90+% of collision accidents between cars and people result in the person's death at those speeds). But if you don't want to get caught, you'd need to get one unregistered / plateless somehow, not to mention evading any potential law enforcement in the area on the escape.
It's absolutely appalling and then to try and play it off. This is the type of guy that deserves to be forced to ride a bike and have the kid hit back in a car. Hit for a hit, and then the adult can visit jail for 5 years minimum for purposely attempting to hurt a child/ severe injury, something that could have gone much worse and the child may of not survived. This is not cool, and the adult now needs a record, which I'm sure they will be charged to the max that can be done for this crime.
assault with a deadly weapon + a couple other felonies I'm sure. But attempted murder it is fortunately not.
If he continued to try to drive on top of the person I'd say yeah. You'd have to prove his necessarily intended to KILL the person which it doesn't seem is the case. If the kid died though it'd absolutely be first degree murder.
No no no. The kid rang his doorbell. So it's ok. The guy is even giving the kid a chance to disappear before the cops come. So he doesn't get in trouble for someone else ringing a doorbell.
I effectively have detailed reviews for cases that will actually warrant a detailed review. This is a case in which a detailed review on an establishment.
He also owns Bridges Paradise Point too. There are articles about how he fears for his life and property now that the video of him attempting to murder a kid has started to spread...
I wish him a good couple years of sleepless nights.
Fuck yea. I hope someone does trash the fuck out of his car and house. Fuck that guy. The article is trash saying no evidence that he tried to hit the kid. That fucker was gunning for that kid. What a pos.
Would like to see what happened before this guy hit him. Clearly something was going on, we are just seeing the final act. Gurantee you this biker was no choir angel. Not saying he deserved to be hit, but clearly he did something to provoke this man
Yeh, Well twice the guy says "I know you didn't do anything. I know you didn't do anything...Then he says, "This bike is Illeagle & you ran into my car" Check the audio from 10 secs \~ 25 Secs.
I heard from others more familiar with the case that the man is a local millionaire business owner and was only fined a few hundred dollars because the police said they couldn't find proof he hit the kid with the car.
What a nut job thinking he has the right to hit someone off there bike with his car! Why because a kid rang his doorbell, jeez I wonder what he would do if a dog did a shit on his lawn? He's lucky that it wasn't my kid he ran down, I would be running his arse over when he was collecting his mail from the letter box.
The child definitely didn't think it was their fault. Maybe I could see how you may have thought that the child believed that initially, if for a moment.
Mate if you look to where the car was headed, there's a fenced off construction area, noone would be pulling up to a fenced off area that fast, this is a deliberate serve and hit
Hits a kid on purpose cause he's mad about something the kid supposedly did and then gaslights the kid and tries to be his "friend" by telling him he should leave before the cops get there. That man is a psychopath.
It's ok guys. He got a fine. And there's been kids ringing his door bell so it makes sense what he did. Poor man is now in fear for his life after almost killing this kid :/
Might get a bit of a push back for this but there is only one solution to such a dangerous unstable character who would intentionally ram a car into a child. I'm sure y'all can read between the lines of what I'm getting at.
Howard Wright of Paradise Point. He owns two restaurants, Bridges and the Lounge. 'Poor man' fears for his life now... what with a video of him accelerating towards a child with a car because he was angry someone rang his doorbell...
Fucking boomer! Oh, no, the consequences of my action! I hope he gets driven out of his neighborhood for overreacting and purposely hitting a kid. A disgusting excuse of a human.
That kid did not deserve to be hit even if he did something. This mother fucker deserves to be prosecuted and if the cops don’t do anything, the public needs to ruin his life. #ThatDaneshGuy
News media in Australia reporting this as the car "colliding" with the boy rather than the man intentionally driving into him/assault with a deadly weapon.
Well the boy is clearly not showing the whole story. The nuthead, cause he is, is way to confident that the boy really didn't do nothing (double negative...). It's the first thing the boy starts saying as well, kinda reminding me of my little brother who caused a flash and power outage and before anyone realised what happend he stood there saying he did not! put those two electrical lines together.
Clearly there is only one side to this story and the kid is a little angel who was pedalling serenely along fully within the law while on an errand for his sick grandmother before this monster tried to murder him for no reason.
Gold Coast Bulletin says “There is no suggestion the hit was deliberate” but there’s literally nothing to the left for him to turn into. It’s a fenced off area and he was going too fast to warrant a left turn into a fence.
And then walk up to the kid all chest puffed out. Fucker needs to tangle with an adult human that has no qualms about making him regret his entire personality and being.
What's the most cryptically violent thought I can express without getting banned from reddit? Whatever it is, that's what I'm thinking I would like to see happen to the driver.
Pardon for the coarse language and the generalization of a people and nation. I have calmed down now and see that it was a comment posted in anger, not based on logic and understanding. Furthermore don’t FORGET THE DILDOES.MAKE SURE THEY ARE UNLUBED. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD.
.these bloody murderous thoughtless violent cunts are going to get ding dong ditched from now on and I imagine much worse as well , fucking sue kid sue you have up to 2 years I the US to put a claim in that man is homicidal and deserves to be put behind bars
Lol this guy's getting jail time, attempted murder, intimidation, a kid was involved, a fucking confession. Plus that kids parents aren't poor, they know how to sue someone
He wasn’t charged with any crime. He was issued a traffic infringement notice of $700. He did not see the inside of a courtroom, nor will he unless he disputes the fine (which he won’t, because he knows he’s in the wrong).
Yes, he is a piece of shit. Yes, the cops fucked up not charging him.
"I wasn't even there!" I know kids saying that are doing what's called lying. Doesn't excuse hitting them with the car, but I'd love a different view showing actual distances and speeds better.
Why would he be doing what he's doing if "I know you weren't" comports with reality? Why would this kid know exactly what happened, and that this guy is mad about it if he doesn't know or wasn't involved. It doesn't add up.
The kid obviously did something because he starts screaming I didn't do anything, I wasn't even there. Still, you don't run a kid over because you are being harassed.
I feel like that's what reddit is missing, here. Audi guy has got to be missing a few neurons to not realize he just tried to murder someone's kid. How does he think that's going to go for him with the parents?
Oh he knew. That's why he tried to make the kid feel at fault and to "vanish" before the cops arrived so he could flee the scene. Really glad other adults were there to check him on his bullshit.
10 mph speed limit, and he clearly turns towards the bike in excess of 10 I would have thought, how the heck he did not get prosecuted and fined goodness knows.
I so want to take a sledgehammer to his completely illegal car with a few love taps to his head. Or better, cuff him for aggravated assault and put him in Gen pop
Brilliant! As a 45 yr old cyclist, no I don't believe I do. However I am interested to know how you think the car (with magnificent brakes, an early warning collision detection system and a clearly functioning adult at the wheel) turning into the child on an open corner with wide sightlines in the bright sunlight is in any way the child's fault. The collision was entirely intentional, as borne out in the resulting investigation.
Some people are lost, there is no sense in even having discourse. Just silently ignore them and they’ll weed themselves out. Someone crazy fuck with a conscience might weed them out too.
Forget the context of the doorbell or whatever was said between the two, I just know as a bike rider, I would have stayed in the grass until both cars passed. He never should have pulled out there to begin with.
If I had to guess the fact the kid immediately starting professing his innocence and that he wasn't even there tells me he probably WAS there and probably DID do something lol. Regardless of that the dude in the car is completely unhinged and deserves to go to jail for attempted murder.
Any action camera can be mounted to a helmet with either a strap or adhesive mount. The latest GoPro Hero is super small and light with great quality but doesn't have a removable battery so you're limited to just over an hour of footage. Just get something with image stabilization and 4k if you want to be able to make out plates. I use a helmet mounted Hero 11 myself. I think having a camera visible makes drivers a more accountable and thus safer and respectful, but the prick in this video is a prime example of that not always being the case.
The man hunted a child down with his car and used his car to intentionally assault the child.
What a cunt.
Given the context, with the kids allegedly ding-dong-ditching the man’s house, the clip starts for us with the kid zipping through a field and coming to a brief stop before entering a presumably safe part of the road way. We see the black Audi behind the red car take a very intentional left turn and (off camera) drive straight into the kid. Immediately the kid starts saying “I didn’t do anything” and “I wasn’t even there”, which paints a clear picture that these two have encountered.
Now, considering the fact that they are just now exchanging pleasantries in the clip, we can safely assume that they did not know each other prior to this altercation. Couple this with the fairly apparent agitation that the child has through out the clip, It starts to paint a picture that the child knew he was being followed and in danger, and that him and the man’s previous interaction was negative in nature.
And then the sociopathic son of a bitch decides to deflect the vehicular assault by telling the child that his vehicle is illegal. The fucking bike isn’t inherently illegal, but the bike may have been operated unlawfully. What’s illegal is how the fucking car was used to assault a child.
Driver should be sued but I've literally never heard a kid scream "I didn't even do anything, I wasn't there" before anyone said anything and not be guilty as shit lol
Wtf. Even if he did ring the doorbell. That shit doesnt even warrant anything close to running him over. The kid could of been seriously hurt. I got kids now so my thought process works differently now. I would whoop the shit out of that dude.
There is nothing he can possibly say to try and make this a accident if someone sees this, like it a blocked off road with just enough space for his car and even if he tries to say he was pulling in there for an emergency like something falling etc the kid was there for a good amount of time and any normal driver is gonna see him
Saw this today, I undertstood from the article that all he got was a fine. I don't understand, he used his car to purposely hit a kid, there is video and witnesses, surely that is not just a fine?
Kid found out what happens when you play "Ding Dong Ditch" in our modern world. Hopefully, the adult will find out what happens when you purposefully hit a minor with your car.
Guy that intentionally runs over child on bike: "your bike is illegal, you are terrorizing the neighborhood, the police are coming and you better run."
First of all this guy is insane and should be in jail. Second, the kid needs to be better at lying. Saying "I wasn't even there" unprompted is a dead giveaway.
So obviously the driver is at fault but this is why my state is pushing for kids to have to get licenses to ride these things because they don't understand the rules of the road at all. I personally would not stop in the middle of a roadway where an Inattentive driver could hit me when it's safer to be on the other side of the bollards.
He hit this 12 year old kid because as the driver claims the kids are out of control in the neighborhood for ringing his doorbell and running. So this guys answer is to run the kid down in his car.
A grown ass man with a ring door bell ran down a 12 year old for ding dong ditching his house. And apparently it's ok because he only got a $700 fine ($435ish USD). But yes the kids are the ones out of control here.
Gold Coast hospitality boss Howard Wright has been fined for driving in a “dangerous manner” after knocking a 12-year-old boy from his electric dirt bike.
Wait, kids causing trouble on SurRons? Shocking. The way the kid immediately shouted "I didn't do nothing" pretty much means he did something. Not justification for running into him, however.
Fair enough… no need to apologize but there’s real stuff here. Whether you want to admit it or not I guess. Def pay attention to it if you can. Could very well be the downfall of this “wonderful” country. 🤘
There's no journalism there, you can get most the story from the pic and headlines in that rag, particularly bad I had a look at few ' articles' fucking terrible.
A better phrasing to avoid any legal trouble if that is what they are worried about might be "the 58-year old's Audi is shown hitting the boy" or at least "appearing to hit the boy".
if you look to the left when the kid starts to enter the road you can see its fenced/ blocked off and there is clearly no reason to turn . the only reason to turn is to hit the kid. kids better then me i would have knocked the guy on his a----
Depends where you are. But yeah, definitely seen it before. Not sure about the legality, but smaller rural towns I have definitely seen kids riding dirt bikes around.
I personally use an Insta 360 with a helmet adhesive mount, a strap mount, and safety rope. Along with premium lens protection so it doesn’t break in a fall and the thermal shield for better thermal dissipation. So if helmet gets damaged, like in the scene above, I can just move to a new helmet right after.
Btw please replace your helmet after a hard accident. The foam only cushions once.
It was a bit pricey but worth the peace of mind in my opinion. Plus it is a great action cam.
In Oz media have to say allegedly until proven otherwise. Most of our news bulltens start with allegedly... The dick was charged $700 in court, so not alleged any more.
Car brain is real. People just accept these enormous risks and think everything else is necessary collateral damage. Pay some goddamn attention where your 2-ton weapon is going.
Couldn't they have gotten around that rule with a phrasing something like: "the 58-year old's Audi is shown hitting the boy" or at least "appearing to hit the boy".
clearly the car driver has no right in any way to run over anyone on a bike of any kind, legal bike or not, adult or child
Just plain deliberate assault and possible attempted murder almost
Totally illegal and should be prosecuted
However, why did the kid get run over - clearly deliberatly, and immediately seem to start shouting that "I wasn;t even there I didn;t even do nothing"
Surely the normal reaction would be "Why did you do that, what was that for" or some such thing
But in this case he seems to know who the driver is, what he is mad about and what happened
maybe he was not the person who did something - but he clearly knew what was going on
sounds like he saw what happened and legged it on his bike (??)
so not guilty in any way - but certainly knows who is and probably why
Australian here: this guy clearly has an English accent he is trying to lose, and he is out to get Aussie kids with his German car. Gotta be a candidate for deporting once they justice system has reviewed the case shown here for whether he has criminal charges to answer for (and the footage appears to indicate he could do).
Why on earth would you think that? You think a grown man collaborated with a child to speed up and hit him with a car? Did you Google anything about this story or are you explaining how misinformation has taken over the world?
Pretty sure that’s classed as at least assault with a deadly weapon. You can go around knocking kids off their bikes with your car you dickwad. You mind you, am surprised the shit Audi didn’t fall apart after that bump.

But if you don't want to get caught, you'd need to get one unregistered / plateless somehow, not to mention evading any potential law enforcement in the area on the escape.
Honestly, the way Luigi did it is a lot easier.

Not attempted murder, but definitely felony assault.
Clear-Wind2903@reddit
It's Australia, no such thing as a felony.
thirst4smarts@reddit
With a deadly weapon, with intent to kill or cause serious injury.
AlternativeClient738@reddit
It's absolutely appalling and then to try and play it off. This is the type of guy that deserves to be forced to ride a bike and have the kid hit back in a car. Hit for a hit, and then the adult can visit jail for 5 years minimum for purposely attempting to hurt a child/ severe injury, something that could have gone much worse and the child may of not survived. This is not cool, and the adult now needs a record, which I'm sure they will be charged to the max that can be done for this crime.
Ok-Seaworthiness3874@reddit
assault with a deadly weapon + a couple other felonies I'm sure. But attempted murder it is fortunately not.
If he continued to try to drive on top of the person I'd say yeah. You'd have to prove his necessarily intended to KILL the person which it doesn't seem is the case. If the kid died though it'd absolutely be first degree murder.
Rare_Discipline1701@reddit
Except the cops ignored the obvious assault with a deadly weapon and charged him with reckless driving.
Cops should be investigated for being paid off
MickyBee73@reddit
Guy should've been jailed for using a car so maliciously.
richalta@reddit
What did the kid do to illicit such a response? Over reaction for sure.
Sparky_Zell@reddit
No no no. The kid rang his doorbell. So it's ok. The guy is even giving the kid a chance to disappear before the cops come. So he doesn't get in trouble for someone else ringing a doorbell.
What a fuckin knob.
godofleet@reddit
He even provides motive "they're terrorizing the neighborhood" ... like, he 100% aimed for this kid

YouKnowMoose@reddit

FL-Cracker@reddit
Do you need me to explain bike safety to you?
YouKnowMoose@reddit
FL-Cracker@reddit
Do you pull out in front of oncoming cars too?
YouKnowMoose@reddit
At this point I'm willing to accept your just trolling.
SparrockC88@reddit

Any action camera can be mounted to a helmet with either a strap or adhesive mount. The latest GoPro Hero is super small and light with great quality but doesn't have a removable battery so you're limited to just over an hour of footage. Just get something with image stabilization and 4k if you want to be able to make out plates. I use a helmet mounted Hero 11 myself. I think having a camera visible makes drivers a more accountable and thus safer and respectful, but the prick in this video is a prime example of that not always being the case.

CptAverage@reddit
What’s illegal is how the fucking car was used to assault a child.
darforce@reddit
Oh the kid definitely did it but that doesn’t give the other guy the right to run him over with a car
thetallestwizard@reddit
If i hit someone with my car it would be an apolgetic rush to see if the rider was ok
shinjincai@reddit
Press charges
Otherwise_Basket_876@reddit
This is why as a kid I had sling shot with marbles. Get fked on 🤣
Icypalmtree@reddit
Ahh 2025. ESH for miles.
Dude in car committed assault with a deadly weapon.
Kid on electric dirt bike was an asshole.
Kid's parents who bought them the bike are bigger assholes.
parkingjack@reddit
Sue the shit out of him.
timbodacious@reddit
kids fault basically. car had its turn signals on and everything and the bike was hidden by the left side frame post of the cars window
Thefleasknees86@reddit
Driver should be sued but I've literally never heard a kid scream "I didn't even do anything, I wasn't there" before anyone said anything and not be guilty as shit lol
rony_hossain04@reddit
Wtf. Even if he did ring the doorbell. That shit doesnt even warrant anything close to running him over. The kid could of been seriously hurt. I got kids now so my thought process works differently now. I would whoop the shit out of that dude.
alistair1537@reddit
I hope you get a good lawyer... Either of you.
zingzing175@reddit
Wow that's fucking lame, kid was targeted and not an accident. The fucker got a tiny fine and that's it? Wtf....
JesusElSuperstar@reddit
yes the bike is illegal but attempted murder is also illegal.
Successful-Buy1463@reddit
How is that not assault with a deadly weapon you cant just be running people with your vehicle what kind of savage would we live in
thenorthtexan@reddit
There is nothing he can possibly say to try and make this a accident if someone sees this, like it a blocked off road with just enough space for his car and even if he tries to say he was pulling in there for an emergency like something falling etc the kid was there for a good amount of time and any normal driver is gonna see him
yellochocomo@reddit
I really hope he catches jail time
I_like_to_eat_meat@reddit
Saw this today, I undertstood from the article that all he got was a fine. I don't understand, he used his car to purposely hit a kid, there is video and witnesses, surely that is not just a fine?
lkstaack@reddit
Kid found out what happens when you play "Ding Dong Ditch" in our modern world. Hopefully, the adult will find out what happens when you purposefully hit a minor with your car.
ACE415_@reddit
Can you murder someone, say, "Sorry, you ran in front of my bullet." And then only get a fine in Australia?
Medical-Cockroach230@reddit
Guy that intentionally runs over child on bike: "your bike is illegal, you are terrorizing the neighborhood, the police are coming and you better run."
steffanan@reddit
First of all this guy is insane and should be in jail. Second, the kid needs to be better at lying. Saying "I wasn't even there" unprompted is a dead giveaway.
Spiritual-Feature241@reddit

chessset5@reddit
Truly, the worst of all crimes. Dingdong ditching. News on 11 on how you could be affected.
Elr0yJetson@reddit
Man, this is fucked up. I’m sure comments have said this but that’s pretty much assault with a deadly weapon at the least.
UltraLord667@reddit
Not pretty much. Is.
Jezon@reddit
So obviously the driver is at fault but this is why my state is pushing for kids to have to get licenses to ride these things because they don't understand the rules of the road at all. I personally would not stop in the middle of a roadway where an Inattentive driver could hit me when it's safer to be on the other side of the bollards.
Lost-Dork9827@reddit
He hit this 12 year old kid because as the driver claims the kids are out of control in the neighborhood for ringing his doorbell and running. So this guys answer is to run the kid down in his car.
A grown ass man with a ring door bell ran down a 12 year old for ding dong ditching his house. And apparently it's ok because he only got a $700 fine ($435ish USD). But yes the kids are the ones out of control here.
Available-Elk-1438@reddit
So the kid was playing with the man’s doorbell???
Do people really not have better things to do now and days???
Let’s go ring doorbells!!!
I can understand how you get ran over
You became a target and it was all your fault…
Maybe the kids shouldn’t be playing with strangers doorbells???
ruindd@reddit

That guy is definitely a sociopath
SeaCustard3@reddit
Hopefully the biker went to court
robjohnlechmere@reddit
"You better take off before the cops get here" -60 year old dude who just purposefully ran over a 12 year old with his car.

It would be actually insane if this guy only gets a $700 fine. This was CLEARLY intentional to say the least.
Refills323@reddit
Yooo wtf, the kid is literally terrified and he sounds so young. I hope there was a lawsuit or something wtf !

like no shit, of course, cause this guy literally just threatened this kids life with his vehicle. $700 fine is embarassing

mikee8989@reddit
If I was that kid's dad, first I'd take the kid's dirt bike away then I'd go have some "words" with the driver.
It's straight fucked that you can get away with murder as long as you are in a car.
TMbiker2000@reddit
Wait, kids causing trouble on SurRons? Shocking. The way the kid immediately shouted "I didn't do nothing" pretty much means he did something. Not justification for running into him, however.
blisteringbluey@reddit
Why is nobody ringing the police?
I'm just too cynical, everything is for likes until I'm proved wrong. Show me the news story and I'll apologise.
UltraLord667@reddit
Fair enough… no need to apologize but there’s real stuff here. Whether you want to admit it or not I guess. Def pay attention to it if you can. Could very well be the downfall of this “wonderful” country. 🤘
SimpleDob@reddit
Start apologizing.

What the actual fuck has happened to "Journalism" these days...
"shows the moment the boy was allegedly hit by the 58-year-old’s Audi A5"
How is that "allegedly" there is video footage of him hitting the kid and then getting out of the car...
He struck the kid on the bike with his car and there is video evidence of the crime.
Fucking joke.
mindfulofidiots@reddit
There's no journalism there, you can get most the story from the pic and headlines in that rag, particularly bad I had a look at few ' articles' fucking terrible.
BigBlueMan118@reddit
A better phrasing to avoid any legal trouble if that is what they are worried about might be "the 58-year old's Audi is shown hitting the boy" or at least "appearing to hit the boy".
thereal_greg6@reddit
“There is no suggestion that the hit was deliberate or intentional on Mr Wright’s part.” - Sorry WHAT?
blisteringbluey@reddit
Fair play, not for likes. Proved otherwise and accept my apology 🙂
blinkybillster@reddit
“That’s bike is illegal”. Yeah, well so is running people over you fuckhead.
DoubleOwl7777@reddit
what a fucker. like you are always supposed to look if you turn. for exactly this reason. that aside this was obviously done on purpouse.
Superb-Pattern-1253@reddit
if you look to the left when the kid starts to enter the road you can see its fenced/ blocked off and there is clearly no reason to turn . the only reason to turn is to hit the kid. kids better then me i would have knocked the guy on his a----
DoubleOwl7777@reddit
yeah, again, i said that in my last sentence.
neurotekk@reddit
He is not turning. He drives there with the intention to hit the kid.
DoubleOwl7777@reddit
yeah hence why i said this was obviously done on purpouse. what an asshole. also the thing he turned into is fenced off. nowhere to go.

Most of the people I know who ride dirt bikes started at 12. At least in the USA it is common.
Nibb31@reddit
On the road ?

Depends where you are. But yeah, definitely seen it before. Not sure about the legality, but smaller rural towns I have definitely seen kids riding dirt bikes around.

That cam looks like the color profile of a gopro.
Costco has some great deals on the 13 black, or you can find anything 11 and up on eBay for decent prices. The 8 is also pretty good.
Personally I want to switch to the osmo action line but that’s mostly because I have other osmo cameras and accessories.
lostharbor@reddit
Just take a GoPro and mount it.
chessset5@reddit
Getting a used one with swappable batteries are good.
chessset5@reddit
I personally use an Insta 360 with a helmet adhesive mount, a strap mount, and safety rope. Along with premium lens protection so it doesn’t break in a fall and the thermal shield for better thermal dissipation. So if helmet gets damaged, like in the scene above, I can just move to a new helmet right after.
Btw please replace your helmet after a hard accident. The foam only cushions once.
It was a bit pricey but worth the peace of mind in my opinion. Plus it is a great action cam.
indiscernable1@reddit
This guy is a total piece of shit.
Salley_Sue@reddit (OP)

PitPost@reddit
“Footage… shows the moment the boy was allegedly hit by the 58-year-old’s Audi A5 in Paradise Point”
What in Odin’s name is “allegedly” doing in that description!
Salley_Sue@reddit (OP)
In Oz media have to say allegedly until proven otherwise. Most of our news bulltens start with allegedly... The dick was charged $700 in court, so not alleged any more.
jacckthegripper@reddit
They only find him$700 when this is clearly assault with a deadly weapon
DrDerpberg@reddit
Car brain is real. People just accept these enormous risks and think everything else is necessary collateral damage. Pay some goddamn attention where your 2-ton weapon is going.
andehboston@reddit
The flip side is you can run the prick over for a low low fee of $700. I'd pay that.
BigBlueMan118@reddit
Couldn't they have gotten around that rule with a phrasing something like: "the 58-year old's Audi is shown hitting the boy" or at least "appearing to hit the boy".
ilikecornalot@reddit
Absolutely a “hospitality boss” will shake your hand and make you feel good after almost accidentally killing you
Virtike@reddit
Except the video's right there, and it clearly was.
923591@reddit
Adult is definitely in the wrong. Why does the kid say “I wasn’t even there” though? Need more context on what that’s about.
widnesmiek@reddit
No sure of what is happening here
clearly the car driver has no right in any way to run over anyone on a bike of any kind, legal bike or not, adult or child
But in this case he seems to know who the driver is, what he is mad about and what happened
maybe he was not the person who did something - but he clearly knew what was going on
sounds like he saw what happened and legged it on his bike (??)
so not guilty in any way - but certainly knows who is and probably why
car driver still needs locking up
herbertwilsonbeats@reddit
So what justifies being ran other? Stealing? Attempted murder? The kids friends knocked and ran on his house. That is all
widnesmiek@reddit
Exactly - whatever happened the driver is at fault not the kid
and even if this was the kid that did "it" then running him over was excessive
which is what I said
herbertwilsonbeats@reddit
Yup it was a long winded way of getting there. But only attempted murder of my family would justify hitting a 12 year old in my car…
BigBlueMan118@reddit
Australian here: this guy clearly has an English accent he is trying to lose, and he is out to get Aussie kids with his German car. Gotta be a candidate for deporting once they justice system has reviewed the case shown here for whether he has criminal charges to answer for (and the footage appears to indicate he could do).
herbertwilsonbeats@reddit
He got a 700 dollar fine
BigBlueMan118@reddit
Yeah, pathetic - should be challenged.
herbertwilsonbeats@reddit
$700 aud fine… that’s like $400 US
blisteringbluey@reddit
So staged 🥱

Ghost Drift XL is like $100 and it works great, comes with mounts too.

Pretty sure that’s classed as at least assault with a deadly weapon. You can go around knocking kids off their bikes with your car you dickwad. You mind you, am surprised the shit Audi didn’t fall apart after that bump.
