Nothing says individual liberty like taking someone's life because they have mental illness. Choking someone to death in cold blood is a very pussy thing to do, actually
Nope badass. Example of who we all should strive to be. Help the weak. Be humble. Get back to it. Iβm sure the marines instill that but he lived up to it. A lot of folks donβt.
This is obviously a fake picture. I mean, look at the doors of that subway car. Do they look like Penny could fit his massive balls through them? I think not.
He pinned down Jordan Neely, a man that was acting disorderly and threatening toward other passengers on the subway. He was just found not guilty a few weeks ago.
Does anyone here know the holds of safe crisis management? Penny killed a man and sure on accident but there have been plenty of stories in the news of people who argued they used their firearm in self defense but were still found guilty by jurys who deemed the use of force uncalled for.
I understand that personal accountability is important, but I don't think this man should be celebrated for killing a man who was having a mental breakdown. Especially when he was incapacitated.
It's saddening to hear of another disabled or mentally unwell person getting killed during a mental breakdown.
I just canβt get over the fact that itβs a scarf and not a hood. Idk why thatβs so funny to me. It made him go from regular dude to quaint dude lol

A badass can make the wrong decision.
Personally I think stay is not a great idea, it it also depends on his reasons.
tank1780@reddit
Your right. But from the witnesses who thanked him for what he did, he made the right call to subdue.
SiPhoenix@reddit
I mean continuing to live in the city, I would move.
Stopping Neely was the right decision in my eyes.

You and I would. Thatβs part of what makes him a badass.

By pinned you mean choked to death while other passengers yelled at him to stop because he was killing Neely.

Judges determined he is not guilty, it was self defense (and defense of others by the way). Suck it up.

A jury found him not guilty. Lets keep in mind that a jury of his peers unanimously found him not guilty.

Self-defense is not premeditated murder; despite our attempted gaslighting of what actually happened:
ToastTarantula@reddit
Both are true. He threatened to kill, while having a mental breakdown. Then he was killed after being incapacitated. Which i think is wrong
