Need help with my pc plzzzz

First of all, current specs: MOBO: msi b450m pro-vdh max GPU: RTX3070 PSU: 750w RAM: 32gb 3200 CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

So. I brought a new Ryzen 7 5700x and went to install. I started by updating the bios is stages to ensure compatibility between updates and clearing the cmos. Removed old cpu and installed the new Ryzen 7.

Here, my pc would not post. I had a solid vga light. Thinking I fxcked something I placed my old cpu back and my pc posted first time, didn’t even boot load. Just fired up straight away.

So, I reinstalled the Ryzen 7. Same issue. I hit the power button, removed mobo battery for 15 mins and removed 1 stick of ram (now single channel), and reseated GPU. Thankfully, it worked! I got into my desktop and thought I’d sorted it.

I shut down, fired it back up to load into bios to enable xmp but again, I had the slid VGA light on EZ-Debug. Now nothing makes it post. I reseated the GPU and tried to clear cmos again, didn’t work. Can’t run without GPU as I have no dedicated on board drivers as I’ve been told to try it without a GPU (not sure why) but obviously it didn’t work.

I’ve since placed my Ryzen 5 back in and been using it fine for over a week. Now I’m getting to the point of wanting to pull out my GPU and put it through the mobo as I’m extremely angered with this whole process. I’ve changed CPU’s before but I’ve never had this.

Everyone I’ve spoken to (msi forum, discord forums, Reddit forums, pc repair places, friends with 15+ years experience in building pc’s) and nothing has worked. Getting real fed up with it all tbh and I know the cpu works. I know it’s not a GPU fault. But this is where I’m at. I know what it is not, but I need assistance in finding out what the fxck I need to do to get this heap of shxte working before it takes a fall down 3 stories of stairs. Please.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am formatting my whole pc tonight and reinstalling a fresh windows install as I’ve seen today that this is a common problem. But yeah, I’m lost and haven’t been able to find anything to guide me in the right direction…
