All the news and media loves killers, as long as it serves the powerful.

Get someone who participated in the invasion of Iraq, done entirely on false premises, and it is unthinkable to not call him a hero for killing a dozen poorly trained conscripts defending their land from a invasion done on false premises.

Have a cop kill someone, and blame the victim for any negative activity they have done in the past. Call it NUANCE. Say it is a TRAINING issue, not a scumbag human in blue issue.

Have high status person kill someone poor, and it doesn't make news. Perhaps the low status person did ANYTHING which can qualify as "FAFO".

But either way, I saw our media go from praising killers who had the right status or having some "nuance", to all uniformly trying their absolute hardest to make the killer look bad, with around the clock footage, for killing one person, who happened to be rich and powerful.
