I met a load of them when I worked at heathrow as a cleaner and I met a fair few of them through Martin Clunes whos a family friend (this was all in the 90s and early 2000s)

Was at uni with David Mitchell, Rob Webb, etc. Mel and Sue had just graduated and would test their shows on us. If David hadn't been so funny for so many hours late at night in the bar, I might have got a better degree...

Used to see Sir Paul Daniels in stringfellows All the time. When he needed a lovely piss he had a habit of taking his Willy out at the table and he’d flick it the whole walk to the gents. If you caught his eye he’d growl “ya wanna see me yellow onions too?” Thankfully when he had to plop he’d just crab walk towards the gents. Always turded in the urinals unfortunately he’d laugh on the way out saying “let the cleaners deal with that they’re only foreign anyway”. Micky Barrymore told me it’s because he’s a warlock. An Absolute belter of a man though.

I asked Sean Hughes for an autograph after a show, he seemed affable and a tad shy.

You ever seen any of those I mentioned? If not then you have no idea of their stand up routines.

Not live in person but yes, sadly. It’s the laziest so-called comedy I’ve ever seen.

Didn't meet him but saw Sean Lock (RIP) out and about in Derby once. That's it, that's the story.

I once shared a table at a comedy club with Johnny Vegas. He wasn’t performing, he was just there to check out open mic night. Lovely chap.

Tim Key, Hamley's Toy Shop, London - Christmas shopping. Tim looked stressed. I looked stressed. We raised eyebrows at each other in agreement that it was stressful.

I didn’t meet him in real life, but I was working at a comic convention a friend of mine hosted a good few years back. He sold loads of tickets to it but there ended up being quite a poorer turnout than he’d expected. He’d hired Norman Lovett to do some stand-up comedy and he basically turned up, told my friend he could forget the show, he wasn’t performing to such a small crowd, but still wanted paying. My friend had to pay him his full fee to avoid bad publicity but I lost all respect for Norman after that to be honest

Saw Harry Enfield in Sainsbury's as a kid but I was only vaguely familiar at that stage, my parents were fans though. Everyone left him alone but I vividly remember him spotting a little group of people watching him and giving the "only me" as he walked by. https://youtu.be/enhgRsAI2rE?si=9rJEWLzW8cmBfZo7
