Now do Chernobyl since you think the state should be “managing” the environment.
If producers and consumers knew of the environmental effects of PFAs from the beginning then it might have altered their decisions to buy/sell in the first place.
The free market doesn’t mean that everything will be perfect and that no PFAs will ever be produced.
Humans make mistakes, and humans will continue to be human even in a free market or collectivism.
The difference is that under a free market, humans aren’t murdered for buying the “wrong” product.
Producing, selling, snd PFAs wasn’t a war crime because there was no information for decades for PFAs.
The free market provides for voluntary mechanism to allow consumers to choose PFA or non-PFA products.
If there’s demand and profits to be made, then the free market will likely innovate a solution to replace PFA’s.
If there’s demand and profits to be made, then the free market will likely innovate a solution to treat existing PFA’s.
Innovation, not regulation, is key. That is what tankies like yourself never understand.
Is the premise of your argument that there are no side effects of government? Or that regulators (you know, the ones that go in and out of cushy corporate executive positions) would have prevented this?

You're not half as clever as you think you are

Do you realize you’re hurting your (attempted) point, not helping it?

No I'm saying we need less regulations and government intervention so stuff like this happens more, right fellow libertarian?

You can’t just point out a bad thing and magically assume government would have prevented it. Make an argument.

No I don't believe in Government intervention, I'm a libertarian like you, companies shouldn't be regulated so stuff like this happens
