When you've been eating some chips like Takis or kettle chips that get stuck in your teeth, and after you've put then away you find yourself having lots of chewed chip gunk stuck in your teeth and mouth, you should just spit this paste out because why eat these extra unhealthy morsels.

It's kind of gross and nobody enjoys swallowing that chewed chip paste anyway. When you think about what you're eating it's a bit nasty at least to me, so I swallow it quick to not think about it. If you're not enjoying the experience and it's bad for you why eat it. Not saying I do this though

I think maybe you're overthinking it? When I eat something yummy like Takis, I just embrace the whole weird experience, gunk and all. I mean, who doesn't like a snack that burns your mouth in an oddly satisfying way, right? Besides, I don’t want to go through the fuss of spitting out every little bit, especially if I’m chilling on the couch or something. Plus, have you ever tried throwing up because you tried spitting something out and it accidentally went down your windpipe? Like, honestly, I’d rather swallow those little bits than deal with the awkwardness of choking and having to explain why I’m sputtering and coughing on a perfectly good chip. Sometimes just embracing the chaos is the way to go, and isn't that part of the joy of snacking? I mean, maybe I’m rambling here but … isn't life too short to worry about little things like chip muck?

You want the spittoon re-introduced as an item of furniture in houses, bars and public places?

How is it bad for you? It's literally the same food made of the same substance.

Well it assumes the food is already something unhealthy like chips or Takis. It's especially a feeling I get with processed food that I'm chemical gunk. I just don't like the gross paste stuck your teeth that you end up eating.
