I removed all ads from Fan Clubs!

Hey everyone,
I removed all ads from Fan Clubs so everyone can test the site as if they were a member — without ads. Assuming the site ends up profitable enough so that it can continue to grow, I'd like to keep the member experience clean and uninterrupted.
My goal is to bring back that community-feel that predates Reddit and social media (if you were there for it, you know). I was an avid forum user in the late 90's and 2000's, but nearly all of the communities I was a part of eventually met their maker as social media got more popular.
Creating a club provides all the tools needed to build a community where the club can grow with it. No need for another ~~sub~~ club when you get to big. A club leader can just add another forum. 💬
If you check it out, I'd love to hear your feedback. Many of the changes so far were driven by it.
Thanks again!

I'd recommend either removing or making it smaller and moving the 4 big club images (gaming, entertainment, sports, technology) somewhere lower to push the trending stuff higher. They are taking too much space imo. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion, busymom. The clubs are the primary focus, so that's by design. Making some tweaks to the design to make it more obvious.
Thanks again!

You could reduce the size and add more club images there. Like 8 or 12 of them.

Thanks for continuing to share feedback while I try to strike a good balance. I just rolled out another update if you're up for one more check.
Thank you! 🤝

Looks good! Showing more content without having to scroll is a pro imo.
