For the love of everything I just want to know why all my posts get deleted when I try to abide by the rules.

I'm fed up. Anywhere I post, No matter if it's asking for help, sharing memes know nerdy subreddits I'm part of, or doing random things my posts get deleted. It's only started happening recently after my friends convinced me to set up something to help me and my dad out. I didn't event want to do it, but I know i had to out of having no other option. And despite following every rule to the letter and even messaging mods asking what I did wrong so I could correct it and fix it, or asking if there's hidden details in the rules not available on the Info page, I never get a god damn response.
I don't want to break the rules, I want tk follow them and I've been trying and every time I get that stupid red trash can icon with no message from a bot on what rule I broke, I try to contact mods and it's radio silence, im certain I got shadowbanned because I havent gotten the message saying I've been banned off reddit, I don't get it. I'm trying so hard just to reach out and ask for help, or to just share memes with people, and now no matter what I do, what I change, it's that same icon showing my post gets deleted. I'm so tired and done with it but i don't know what to do about it or what alternatives are there for asking for help or social networking.

- too many rules
- too many auto-mod bots
- we have to play guess, on what words any sub may filter, even if its not profanity
- the bigger or more popular a sub is, the worse the 3 first points are
This will be the downfall of reddit, cause yah its only getting worse and worse

Lemmy has 42k monthly active users
Feel free if you have any questions
Stunning_Repair_7483@reddit
I'm assuming Lemmy doesn't have a big variety of different categories and genres the way Reddit does?
For example, if I want to find a subreddit for people that are knowledgeable about clothes and can help me find the right kind, I can get that.
If I want to look at retro toys from the 90s I can find that.
If I want to find a subreddit that has a very specific art style that is the same as the fruitopia logo and art style, I can find that.
Now if I want to find things that are as specific as this, would it be difficult on Lemmy? Are there other alternatives to Reddit that would be as easy to find categories like this?

Ive had so many accounts at this point. Reddit is a shit hole of over-moderation, whiny users, and dumb admins.
Just make a new account. Clear the cookies/cashe on your browser and phone. Search by "red" and delete everything there in the Internet data. Then unplug your cable router for about 30 minutes to reset your physical IP address. These are the two things reddit uses to track you across accounts. If you dont do this, chances are your new account will get labeled as spam or banned too.

I see one post of yours that is available in your profile but not on the sub.
Subreddit moderators cannot delete posts. Even post deleted by Reddit can still show up on your profile.
How many posts are we talking about here?
Terrible-Course9513@reddit (OP)
I posted 1 in a couple different GFM subreddits. Most of them i just took down after it gave me the trash can icon cuz I thought that meant that it was deleted, but not fully. Kinda like when you look at a subreddit post that says deltetd and it's empty cuz it got deleted by Reddit. I only kept one up in the hopes that like maybe it's okay since the view count kept increasing, but because it's my own profile, I'm not sure if it's only showing me the context of the posts or if other people can see it, or if it just has that [Deleted] title.
nicoleauroux@reddit
Okay, so if you delete your own post nobody can look at it, at least on our level. The trash can doesn't mean they deleted your post, it might mean that it is in a queue.
Check r/whatismycqs
You have a gap without any interaction with Reddit, and you don't have a ton of karma. So this might be holding you up in some filters.

THAT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE THANK YOU I was going on so many rabbit holes on Google trying to figure out if people could see it or not, it's been screwing with me for the last week cuz I tried to post on both this account, thought eventually I was banned or my karma was too low, so I posted on my other less private account cuz that had the most karma and posted on different subs so that lile I didn't accidentally spam, I was doing a lot all day just trying to figure out how to post and what to do thank you so much you are absolutely amazing ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ–¤ðŸ–¤

TIL my CQS is highest.
Interesting and perhaps handy subreddit, u/nicoleauroux.
nicoleauroux@reddit
Awesome! Still doesn't solve your issue. I'm guessing the answer is another parameter of reddit's filters, which are not transparent, but like I said a sub moderator can find your post and approve it.
That doesn't mean they will, unfortunately.

Oh, I'm not OP :P

Oh god, how embarrassing! Congratulations anyway!

Set up something to help you and your dad out and you had to? Sounds suspicious.
Terrible-Course9513@reddit (OP)
It was a go fund me. I didnt want to, but I currently have to cuz both of us are disabled, him worse than I am, and we lost our jobs due to our disabilities and seasonal cuts. Our roommate stole shit tons of money from us and me selling pics of myself and trying to take on multiple jobs wasn't helping, so I caved and made a go fund me with the offer to repay people by doing any kind of photoshop work for any kind of reason.
I followed all the rules of these go fund me subreddits, and they were the highest recommended ones, but I just kept getting my posts deleted no matter how high my comment karma was or how detailed I was in my explanation. I tried contacting the mods to figure out what I did wrong, but I got nothing back.
It's not meant to be malicious or anything (If that's what you mean, I'm autisric and usually I only hear the word suspicious used as in someone trying to do something malicious, I apologizeif it has a different meaning than that and im misinterpreting it). I just literally don't want to end up homeless again due to us losing our house as collateral. I was homeless on my own throughout my teens and being homeless with my father too sounds like a total nightmare for various reasons.
Dogbold@reddit
You may be caught in Reddit's spam filters. It's happened to me multiple times after I edited a single post too many times. The only way out of it is to get your posts manually approved by subreddit mods, and it's a lot of posts, like 30. It took me a long time to get out and it will probably happen again when I edit a post too many times again.
It's stupid, and many mods will ignore you and assume reddit is deleting it correctly, and reddit admins will completely ignore you for the same reason. CS will ignore any message/ticket/email you send in.
Terrible-Course9513@reddit (OP)
Thank you, that makes a lot more sense. I seriously don't know what to do at this rate, i wanna switch to another app but there's no other apps that have communities like this. For the thing I was trying to post the only other recommendations I got was Twitter but that's a hell hole I do not wanna touch.
I don't think any of my posts will get approved. I've messaged so many mods and theres very limited subreddits I can post in now, I don't think I'm ever gonna get out of the spam filter. I don't use Reddit enough to even want to try fighting with it, but idk where else to go that has like actual communities.
Dogbold@reddit
You could make another account to do important posts while you try and get this one sorted out, that's what I ended up doing. Keep in mind though some reddits have a minimum karma requirement, so it may still need to be approved by mods.
