i want to like mine but i haven't been able to get it shooting like i want at all
because i am regarded, i have really wanted a PDW-ish setup in 357 Sig. i have a glock 35 with a 357 Sig threaded barrel as the host. i got a 20/20 about a year ago (from 208GS on a sick coupon). then i got the "mag holder" and the "glass breaker" attachment to add on there. i tried to put a holosun 512 on the "optic mount" for the glass breaker but i wasn't too confident in the mounting of it, the way that plastic-ass optic rail is just hanging out into space unsupported
took it to the range and i couldn't get the damn 512 onto the paper at 25 yards no matter how much i cranked it, after several mags of ~~gold coins~~357 Sig, i finally noticed the point of impact was the damn dirt, about **10 feet in front of the target**
i was so disgusted i just put it away for the summer and focused on other gun projects
like i say, i really want to like it. it may look like half-stupid half-cool, but the ergos are *great*. the dot is nice and heads-up. the folding brace makes it compact-ish to stow.
maybe the 512 is just too damn heavy for that shit piece of plastic.
idk maybe i'll take another whack at it this year once the weather breaks
I'm with the other user, check to see if your holosun adjusts the right direction as marked. Not the first time I've heard of optics being marked the wrong way.
Hmmm was the barrel OEM? maybe you cranked too hard? Did you have a heightened mount? I don't know. It's definitely not MOA but it hits the target lol just asking because my 9mm Glocks were good to go.
It's by far the most compact lightest PDW solution. Cheap with Glock reliability.
Yea, can’t speak for this specific kit but other stuff I’ve gotten from them has been good. Have a 10mm 1911 in the folding chassis and it’s a riot
Only complaint I have is their standalone optic mount is a pretty flexible polymer, and I don’t really trust it.
They make some fun stuff for the price, I’d personally get the folding chassis before this, but I’m sure this is fine too
