At this moment i have nvidia 2060, but i want to upgrade it so i need some good gpu. I am using nvidia and i would like to stay on nvidia, so recommend me some nvidia gpu’s and if you have better idea. Btw i have intel i5 11th gen 11600, so will my CPU going to bottleneck some 350$ GPU.

When I was looking to invest in some GPUs I use for various ML tasks in late 2024, this website helped me to compare the various options on the market and find the right one.
https://gpuprices.io/
It lists and ranks GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD I think scraped from the Amazon US website. The ranking system is based on a combination of price, specs, and customer ratings.
BluDYT@reddit
If you want to stay on Nvidia I'd recommend going used. 3070 around $250-300, 3070ti around $300-350 or 3080 around $350-400.
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
Why not the 4060? Is it really bad?
BluDYT@reddit
Yes it's a horrible value. A 4060 at $300 is 30% slower than the RTX 3070($250) at 1440p and 25% slower at 1080p.

6800
when it's on sale for $320-$340
Twigler@reddit
Probably the next gen AMD lineup releasing here shortly
Gregardless@reddit
Don't. I just upgraded from 2060 to 4070 super for $600 and the improvement isn't nearly worth the difference in price. I'm returning the 4070 super and already put my 2060 back in. Just keep your 2060 until there's a real good upgrade
Lazer_beak@reddit
thats simply not correct , my 4070ti is miles better than even the 3070it on 4k
Compucaretx@reddit
I agree would have to see the system because 4070 is light years ahead of 2060. Would have to be a bottleneck issue somewhere.
Lazer_beak@reddit
the 4070 ti would totally wreak a 2060
TheTr0llXBL@reddit
You just saved me some $ and effort, ty
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
Yeah but then i am going to lose more money on 2060 when i want to sell it
Compucaretx@reddit
What resolution is your monitor. 1080p or 1440p?
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
Idk its 60hz but i am buying a new one that is 1080p
Gregardless@reddit
Absolutely stick with the 2060
Compucaretx@reddit
4060 is great upgrade over 2060 at 1080p. Why is it that there is so much hate for 1 video card?
KEEFY98@reddit
best bang for your buck gonna be used.
for reference my 3070 I got off facebook market for $220.
Neraxis@reddit
Yeah thats not happening at your price range.
4060 ti is your only option but the 7700xt is literally better in every way except RT.
jia456@reddit
4060ti and 7700xt are neck and neck in RT. Plus, at the 4060ti/7700xt performance level I wouldn't even bother turning RT on as you are starved for frames as is without RT.
InfrastructureGuy22@reddit
I bought a refurbished 3070Ti Super with a 2 year warranty for $299
If you look, you can find some.
Audiojunkie1992@reddit
Also avoids the Nvidia overhead where older CPUs become bottlenecked by 20-30% performance compared to AMD equivalents.

W8 for 5000 series launch. People will start selling tons of gpus. If u are willing to go used route
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
I am but i don’t know which is good
KINGADIB42@reddit
After 5000 series launch. Seach FB marketplace or whatever used electronic selling website and note the gpu that are available. Then check this GPU RANKING and get the best one. And if both Amd & Nvidia have similarly ranked get Nvidia
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
I mean i don’t know which secon hand are good
KINGADIB42@reddit
The link I gave has a ranking of every modern releases GPU.just Scroll down a bit
Bubbly_Dragonfly_849@reddit
RX 6750 XT
Striking-Variety-645@reddit
6750 XT best choice
Dakotahray@reddit
You should wait. Get your money up, and grab a newer GPU when they drop
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
Nvidia alreday dropped a 50 series, should i wait for a AMD drop?
Dakotahray@reddit
Nvidia doesn’t drop until January 30th (5090, 5080) and I would suspect AMD to launch shortly after
Djole1123@reddit (OP)
Yeah , that’s what I meant but i didn’t mean to buy before end of the February for sure
AejiGamez@reddit
The only option there is the 4060ti and its horrible. Either go used or 7700XT
ethancknight@reddit
Go used. 3080
MarxistMan13@reddit
Used 3080.
There really isn't a new Nvidia GPU in this price point that's worth buying.
SilverKnightOfMagic@reddit
a used 6800xt or used 3080
opensrcdev@reddit
I would get the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
Compucaretx@reddit
Nvidia 3060 or 4060. Amd 6750 or 7600.
_bisquickpancakes@reddit
If you're willing to go used and spend a little more like 400, you could get a used 3080 on eBay
masterfox72@reddit
At that price the only real option is 4060
_bisquickpancakes@reddit
As if the rx 7700 xt and the 6800 don't exist for that price point... They both absolutely stomp the shit out of the 4060.
masterfox72@reddit
Read OP. He said NVDA only.
chiefseal77@reddit
You kinda have to go amd, or maybe used? You don't want to get a new nvidia card at that price.
_bisquickpancakes@reddit
350-370 you can get an rx 6800, still a beast of a GPU even today and has 16 GB of vram and good performance in games you can find it for those prices new if lucky
FRlegend@reddit
You should go the used route
Glum_Thing_7977@reddit
Save another $200 for new amd gpu or NVIDIA gpu
