Finishing PPL

Hey everyone, I am a Canadian and I have about 110 hours of training, I just would like to know if there are any schools in the US that offer accelerated or wrap up training? Is it even possible to transfer my training in Canada to US and get a US license? I have gone solo already. But it has been almost a year since I last flew. only really looking at the east side of the states as I would be driving there and staying until I have my license if it is even possible. Maybe Texas but that's about as far as I would go since going to Arizona and California would be too far. I have already contacted a few schools but I just don't want to go to the wrong school and regret it.

Why do you want a US license? Do you have the right to work in the US?

want to get my PPL in US and eventually Commerical, seems way cheaper than in Canada

You didn't answer my question. Do you have the right to work in the US? It's not that much cheaper to go through the hassle of converting your licenses back to Canada.

I don't no, guess ill find a school in Canada then. Just thought it would be better to have a US license than Canadian

It is better to have a US certificate than a TC license if the airplane has a large "N" on the side of it. Vice versa for a large "C." TC and FAA things are rather similar. You can convert from one to the other rather easily. Unlike EASA even Commercial-to-Commercial. If you want to spend your money in the US to learn to fly, then why not. But it won't get you a job. Or, as u/KCPilot17 pointed out, the right to work. In general I suggest people train where they are going to fly - 1) that's the weather you need to understand and 2) networking in a country you can't work in has no value.

If you don't know, then the answer is no. Why have a license in somewhere you can't work? Doesn't make sense.

Converting between the US and Canada in either direction is rather simple. A medical, a written test, and some paperwork. And unlike the FAA-EASA deal you can actually convert commercial to commercial. That little bit of ass pain is probably worth it to save some money on training. But, you are right about actually working in the US requiring the right to work which is not included in the DPE fee :)
