Not just that but the ability to have almost all knowledge at our finger tips has totally turned society lazy and dumb. We are doing it to ourselves through plastics, lead, or just pure convenience of ease
Honestly microplastics are at the bottom of the list of my collapse worries. Like we should probably stop putting plastic everywhere, but we're the same species that consumed lead habitually and drank irradiated water as a folk remedy
Hi, nate-the-dude. Thanks for contributing. However, your [submission](https://old.reddit.com/r/collapse/comments/1hwnjar/-/) was removed from /r/collapse for:
> Rule 10: Image and linked posts must include a submission statement (comment on your own post).
> Image and link posts must include a submission statement, which is post text or a comment on your own post explaining how the content is collapse-related. It must not be shorter than 150 characters. Image and link posts are automatically removed after 30 minutes if no submission statement was included.
> Posts regarding a single link must be submitted as link posts. Commentary should be written in a submission statement, not as a self post.
> If your submission statement meets length requirements and is a link post, it has likely been removed for lacking quality - it does not explain how this is collapse related, is overly comprised of article quotes, etc.
Please refer to our [subreddit rules](https://www.reddit.com/r/collapse/about/rules/) for more information.
You can [message the mods](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=/r/collapse) if you feel this was in error, please include a link to the comment or post in question.
Might as well start adding plastics to our diet plan at this point.
There are technologies for easy Recycling, but the civic systems just can't be bothered. FML.
Time for people to watch [Crimes of the Future](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimes_of_the_Future_(2022_film\)) I suppose. Some good old Cronenberg body horror mixed with radical evolutionists tweaking humans to eat plastic.
It is everywhere. It is in our water. It is in our body. It is not just seafood. And at least point, while we can put less in, there is no known way to get a significant amount out.
We may was well accept and make peace, because micro plastic is going to stay with us, like it or not.
As a final reminder, your post must include a valid submission statement within 30 min. Your post is missing a submission statement.
Submission statements must clearly explain why the linked content is collapse-related. They should contain a summary or description of the content and must be at least 150 characters in length. They must be original and not overly composed of quoted text from the source. If a statement is not added within thirty minutes of posting it will be removed.
Please message the moderators if you feel this was an error. Responses to this comment are not monitored.
Hi, thanks for your contribution. It looks like you've included your submission statement directly in your post, which is fine, but it is too short (min 150 chars).
You can either edit your post's text to >150 chars, or include a comment-based ss instead (which I would post shortly, if it meets submission statement requirements).
Please message the moderators if you feel this was an error. Responses to this comment are not monitored.
