I have the 3080ti and in games medium settings it barely push 100fps even with dlss performance,so my best bet is getting 5070ti for better performance?im playing on oled 240hz 1440p monitor.

5090 is more for 4k no?waste of money even if i had the money

well, you are right but for future-proofing it's also good, like even the 4090 at 1440p will last you like at least 5-7 years from now not worrying about upgrading your GPU to keep up with the demands

Kind of my point...
The best is 5090, which makes it the best choice.
We don't know what you have available to spend, therefore we can't really say anything other than "what the best is".
Because on some games, you ain't getting 240fps at 1440p even with a 4090 or possibly even 5090.

5070Ti does seem to have promise specs wise, we just have no idea what DLSS 4 and new Frame Gen practically means yet. I still think for 1440p though, yeah, it will probably crush since raster-wise it is above the 4070TiS and has GDDR7. We also have no idea how game developers will respond to this weird gauntlet Nvidia just laid down that went all in on AI

5000 series seemed to be garbage from how i saw it ... only 5090 is worth it and thats also overpriced ...
Iloveunicornssss@reddit
Garbage compared to what?

I'm in a similar position, 3080ti but with a 4K 240hz oled.
While we don't know the actual performance of the 5070ti, it will probably be around the 4080/4080s in performance.
I would look at 4080/4080s reviews and see if that gets the performance you want. Or just just wait a few weeks and get actual numbers.
For 1440p I'm assuming the 5070ti will be good.

How does my 3060 ti perform better than your 3080 ti, albiet no games mentioned
koukijp@reddit (OP)
Bo6,indiana jones both played medium settings..
Rain_x@reddit
Ok that makes sense i dont even think my gpu can run indiana jones with 8gb vram lmao

Lmao, no.

I mean your best bet is gonna be the 5090, you haven't given us context regarding pricing, overheads, 'futurproofing' etc.
AceWind9466@reddit
Nobody knows yet. Wait for reviews.
