Really curious how Tulsi feels about Trump talking about invading other countries.

So much for being an anti war candidate.
beavis617@reddit
Anti war MAGA party member Tulsi has no qualms about Trump planning on using American military to invade Greenland apparently.
funkalunatic@reddit
It's okay, she'll leak intelligence to the Danes so they can counter any Greenlandian conquest attempts.
danielid@reddit
a country of nearly 6 million with a tiny army won't stand a chance.
Denmark has also given away so much of their military equipment to Ukraine, because they view the real enemy is russia.
SeasonsGone@reddit
I mean if we’re even talking about a military conflict with Denmark, wtf is it we even want as a country, what are our values?
danielid@reddit
a convicted felon and sexual assaulter is running the country.. values are out the window
SeasonsGone@reddit
We still have values, just not ones where any of that matters
Fav9013@reddit
Shell say whatever gets her into office. Career politicians
OuTiNNYC@reddit
Oh yeah hot take! Sure sounds like the MO of someone who willingly gave up her own Congressional seat and hasn’t even run for another office.
She also turned down RFK’s offer for her to be his VP running mate during the election.
Your comment made no sense.
Fav9013@reddit
So she has no intentions of running for president?
Fav9013@reddit
Exactly
SeasonsGone@reddit
She gave up her congressional seat because she was no longer capable of winning an election in her district. That’s not a jab, it’s just the truth
irun4beer@reddit
Yeah, Canadian fan of Tulsi lurking on here. Can you please lay off of Canada? We’re good buds and all (heck, half my family is American, including my sister), but the repeated talk of making Canada the 51st state is making me a little uncomfortable.
SeasonsGone@reddit
Sorry to say that your country will be spoken about in this manner for at least the next 4 years. The fun part is that this is how he speaks before even taking office and having any power
ShaveThatThang@reddit
It’s basically America, Jr. anyway
scientistbassist@reddit
He said (as Commander In Chief) he would not rule out the use of force - which is not the same as he is going to invade. Historical note: USA already invaded Greenland in WWII, when Denmark fell to the Nazis and USA had to protect its shores from U-boats
Veadro@reddit
Let's say I run a gas station and someone comes to buy gas. I tell them I'm going to buy their car and they say no, I tell them I'm going to charge them double the price for gas until they sell me the car. They say "that's insane are you going to beat me up and take my keys if I continue to refuse?" And I tell them I cannot rule that out.
How else would you describe that scenario?
InngerSpaceTiger@reddit
If it’s not invasion then what “use of force” is he referring to when annexing the sovereign territory of another nation state?
georgia_is_best@reddit
Blockades and other things maybe
Sharkdart@reddit
They're using word play now to defend daddy Trump. But when he flat out says he's going to invade they'll just move the goal posts and say it's based. There's no values or ethics in a cult, just whatever the leader says.
OuTiNNYC@reddit
“Word play?” This as opposed to using Nerf guns to work it out? Very sophisticated analysis. N

This sub is so low IQ.
AQMessiah@reddit
Most are probably kids who think they know everything already.
BlondieTVJunkie@reddit
he's not. So she's not worried. Tactic.
howrunowgoodnyou@reddit (OP)
He is literally saying it
AQMessiah@reddit
Can you provide a source? Also, I’d like to hear it from the horse’s mouth instead of msnbc… thabks
danielid@reddit
It's all smokes and mirrors, the trump administration is pure window dressing
LactoceTheIntolerant@reddit
Attacking a NATO nation no less
OuTiNNYC@reddit
Replying to howrunowgoodnyou....
You should all be thankful to Trump’s generosity for not cutting off the entire global welfare state which is funded almost entirely by the US that benefits us none.
LactoceTheIntolerant@reddit
F Trump
bigmt99@reddit
Fell for it again award of the week goes to this sub once again
enjolras1782@reddit
She probably "feels" pretty relaxed in whatever she bought after cashing her appearance fee cheques
OuTiNNYC@reddit
Foreigner! Americans dont say cheque.
catchingtherosemary@reddit
Buying a country is not invading.
Sharkdart@reddit
A country that isn't for sale. Denmark said there will be no deal for the US to own Greenland. After which Trump said that he'd be willing to use military force. That is invading.
_xxxtemptation_@reddit
I heard him threaten heavy sanctions, not military action. Maybe I missed something? Any chance you got a source for that?

_xxxtemptation_@reddit
Yeah that’s the same clip I saw. Trump definitely skirted the question on military intervention, and when asked specifically again, he redirected the conversation towards sanctions again. He never “said” he was considering military action, but he never explicitly took it off the table either. Upon rewatching, I can definitely understand how you would get the impression that that’s what he meant though. Personally, I don’t feel theres much possibility of military intervention, even if Trump and Denmark/Greenland wanted it, as sanctions would really hurt their Ohio sized economy, especially in the peak of winter. But who knows what will actually happen with Trump. If his last term was any indication, he’ll probably just build a few fences and call it a day.
mortepa@reddit
Exactly
jstohler@reddit
She doesn’t care. She’s in it for the grift, and so for the grift is paying off.
SeasonsGone@reddit
Her whole reason for leaving the DNC was because they’re supposedly war hawks and that Trump is the Prince of Peace—now she’s found herself joining the most imperial administration in over a century.
CalRipkenForCommish@reddit
You’re gonna have to wait a long time for tulsi to criticize any of putin’s people
PeaceLoveorKnife@reddit
Invading? Most I've seen is talk of buying them or making them voluntary protectorates to secure trade.
It's likely all media circus to distract the national conversation from Trump's administrative choices. If so, all this distraction is just part of the gameshow host's strategy of fooling the political opposition into wasting their time and resources while the real machinery of his administration falls into place.
Either way, I demand the greater union be called Super America.
InngerSpaceTiger@reddit
She’s MAGA now and therefore has no principles other than capitulation and alignment with whatever fever dream of a position Trump has this week.
Mookhaz@reddit
i Know there was an uptick in bots during the election campaign cause this sub is dead silent about this now. What a joke this whole thing has been on the american people.
howrunowgoodnyou@reddit (OP)
Right? Any criticism of her was downvoted to oblivion a short while back
tuepm@reddit
I'm sure she's fine with it because her " beliefs" are all fluid and she just wants powerful government positions no matter what.
beavis617@reddit
Excellent point.
superpowers75@reddit
I am very curious on her thoughts aswell, although I don't believeTrump is going to actually start a war.
