Is double dipping ever ok?

Im going to get downvoted here but I think that this is normal for some people and families. I think this is a real issue in the UK and more people should take it upon themselves to voice your opinions when you are uncomfortable, this should be commonplace for everyone and everything that you are uncomfortable with. You don't like the way the stranger you just met has crumbs and chocolate lining their lips? You don't want to bring up how every time you see a colleague they smell really bad? You think that it would be rude for you to tell the person that just threw his beer can onto the road to put it in the bin next to it? Tell them. In reality, it depends on your approach and PR speak. You need to be ready to deescalate and hold back as soon as you notice any aggression or ill response. Lets be honest you just told someone they look like an unkempt toddler/ can't be bothered to put on deodorant/ don't have the decency to put their litter in the right place. Be in a state of mind where you are ready to break down your reasoning and give a good explanation without telling them outright "you smell like shit" or "eugh that's fucking disgusting". Be in a position where you can offer constructive feedback if it is asked of you and that the person you are helping is going to live a better life as a result of your input. That said, please don't overstep your bounds, realise that some people are just never going to change, and that's alright, we walk it off.
