Is double dipping ever ok?

We are in holiday with my future mother in law. This is only the second time we’ve met, as she lives in Australia and we live in the uk. We’ve been ordering lots of small dishes and sharing so that we get to taste different examples of local cuisine. She is double dipping, stirring things around with bread or food she’s already bitten into, or breaking up food using cutlery that’s been in her mouth. It makes me really uncomfortable. Am I being unfair?
