How do you spell "burger"?

In a lot of non english speaking countries, "burger" is usually spelled phonetically. I've heard americans spell the "bu" in "burger" like the "bi" in "Birmingham" ( [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpXcIQrfayE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpXcIQrfayE) )

believe the origins of the what became the classically American burger were from ... Hamburg. So Hamburger, not Hambirger

vowels followed by the letter r in American English is a really technical topic that if you aren't educated in phonetics is pretty complicated to talk about. But you can easily find an online dictionary with (non-AI) audio, or check the site Forvo for pronunciation examples.
