He's a mainstream dem and that brand is going to be totally toxic by 2026 midterms / 2027 primaries. Hoping that bad 2A policy goes down with that ship and actually intelligent policy comes out on the other side. We've seen Rs change a lot the last 10yrs, hopefully we see Ds change for the better in the next 10.

I think binary triggers are stupid and pointless, but I take issue with removing freedom of choice.

It’s the same with bump stocks. In theory it makes it more deadly because it’s more similar to an automatic rifle. In reality it makes it less accurate and more unwieldy for someone to use. And yeah, most criminals aren’t going to spend the extra money, and people that are trained and could properly utilize something like this wouldn’t because they would know better

Deadly binary gun triggers? I’d say they are more of a novelty. Don’t get me wrong I love my BFS III. Has there been a mass shooter caught using a binary trigger or is this preemptive fear mongering?

Seeing as how the news wouldn't let you not hear about it if someone did the thing with a binary, forced reset, or super safe gun, I think you can safely assume the answer. In another thread on this I think there were maybe one or two incidents total where binaries were involved. You have more people getting shot by bangers with already illegal full auto switches on their Glocks than have ever been hurt or killed by binary triggers.

It’s barely faster than pulling the trigger twice. And with the Franklin Arms you can put it on safe before you release the trigger. It’s a great system.

The Fargo shooter & the Burnsville shooter used one. Only two incidents that I can think of that used a binary trigger

Because so many criminals spring for the $400 on a binary trigger. 🙄

Any adjective before a gun type or part makes me immediately roll my eyes. Just had to include the “deadly” before binary trigger.

Binary triggers save lives, it makes shooting more inaccurate

Maybe one day they’ll finally get it. And realize that more votes will come their way if they drop the bullshit aspects of their nonsense claims

Criminals don’t listen to laws…. This will likely solve nothing.
