Intakes for the packs (Pneumatic Air Conditioning Kit).
jcsuperfly@reddit
FYI, Pack is not an acronym, is is short for Package, because the air conditioning system is bought as a packaged unit that is installed as a whole in the factory.
Source: I'm an aircraft air conditioning engineer, I spec' and order them.

Thank you...

Does the air mix, or does the air cool a heat exchanger?
I wish I kept my schematics from my -1.
looper741@reddit
I guess I worded it poorly trying to keep it simple. It’s a heat exchanger.

To add on to it, the door with the cautionary tape on it is the deflector door to prevent FOD/etc. from getting in and potentially blocking heat exchanger.

Interesting, thanks!

Am I the only one who thought this looked like a sperm whale? The RAT as the mouth, and the wing lights as the eye.

I was going to say shark, but yes, I definitely anthropomorphized it.

Maybe a manta ray? ha ha

Nope

Ram air deflector door. Prevents FOD ingestion into ram air vents

Since the question got answered already
If this was shittyaskflying I'd say some shit like "this is it's mouth, how else do you expect it to eat the kerosine?"

Ram air intake for air conditioning packs.
The air that goes in here (in flight)/is sucked in here (on ground) is used for cooling the air that will go into the cabin. That said, that ram air is exhausted a little further back and does NOT go into the cabin. The air that goes into the cabin comes from the engines compressors and thus is hot and pressurized.
The striped flap you can see is a deflector used in low level flight (simplified explanation) and on ground in order to avoid foreign objects like birds (for example) entering the ram air path as they could clog up the heat exchangers.
