Oh, I have one So basically some guy in the class was goofing off and he got in trouble and the teacher went outside to talk with him. BIG mistake. Never leave a group of middle school students alone in a class. So, one girl recommends when the teacher enters the classroom, we all put out heads down... because why not? And most of the class was on board, so, when the teacher entered, she didn't say anything at first, minding her own business, and then she goes on a rant about respect and stuff. And then she gave everyone (except her favorites) lunch detention. On the way to the next class everyone that participated was laughing. It was worth it.

It's the one that comes to mind the most clearly. There's also one where I was typing something on a word processor where I called one of my male teachers "Mr Horse" instead of Mr Morse, and an LSA saw it and had a right go at me for it.

Nah, there were some extreme moments, though I wasn't really part of them. A class clown made us all giggle with his antics getting under the skin of my Year 10 science teacher. There was a German supply teacher who was given a load of sass and mockery. Our deputy head's surname was twisted by students who called him Mitler.

I didn't get a detention in school at all and that was the closest I ever got to getting a detention. The predicament and how close I was, and I was in a middle-set class that was a bit stricter than the other classes I'd been in during secondary school.

Some of the older leavers of that year threw a dinner lady in to the canal that ran alongside the playing fields. The headmaster walked out of the end of term assembly in disgust.

2 girls got expelled for selling ecstacy out their locker. (They were in year 9) A group of chavs set the fire alarm off every single day for about 3 months and it became a massive witch hunt to find them. They eventually got caught and expelled. Someone hacked the computer system and locked the tech guys out the system for a few days, zero Internet access. Big cheers for them 3 kids on separate occasions got run down by vehicles in front of the school. One of them died. On last day of school someone brought a whole pig carcass in, chopped it up and threw it around the place Couple of stabbings, no lethal ones Someone stole a bottle of ammonia from the chemistry stores and poured it into the water cooler Someone set the art rooms on fire by accident, full school evac. A kid attacked a few teachers with a cricket bat, ended up getting arrested A guy in our science class took a bunch of magic mushrooms and had a massive freakout and had to be removed and taken to hospital. That was pretty funny.

Girl A had an abortion and Girl B decided to tell everyone about it. The two of them had the biggest brawl I’ve ever seen in my life in the Maths classroom. Hair was ripped out by the handful. They landed on my desk and ripped my copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I was furious and my parents told me to demand that they buy me a new copy, but after seeing the violence they were capable of I decided to let it slide

From teaching gym over the years, I've had to deal incidents of fights, bullying, sexual harassment, one or two broken bones (and not just the students!). I've also witnessed spectacular athletic ability, touching moments of students supporting each other, and showing responsibility in times of difficulty and crisis. So lots to remember for lots of different reasons!

At Primary School our teacher told us if we bunked off school the truant officer would go round to our houses and arrest our Dads. I told her he definitely wouldn't be arresting my Dad, and when she asked how I could be so sure I replied "because my Dad *is* the truant officer."

My maths teacher threw a board rubber at me and bust my nose, then picked his bag up and walked out of school crying. I was called to see the head teacher and flatly denied it. Even at that age, I understood something had broken in him. I'd bust my nose by tripping over and banging it on a table, and I stuck to that. None of my classmates were called in to contradict me. He came back a couple of years later when I was in sixth form, and confirmed he'd had a nervous breakdown, and me talking in class was just the moment he finally flipped.

When I was 13 (Year 9 for Brits), we were in English class watching a video on this old TV/VCR sets. It was an all boys school and we were PARTICULARLY unruly and naughty beyond our years - and someone had brought in a porno, knowing we would be watching a video in class. The teacher slipped out of the room for a moment and, rather inevitably, the tape got switched. The teacher came back to find filth on the tv, and during her initial bemusement the diligent pupils pulled the tape from the vcr and passed it hand to hand across the classroom. The teacher naturally pursued the tape until it reached on boy by the window, who dutifully threw it out of the window. The teacher laughed and sneered “I’ll just got down there and get it and then we can find out who’s responsible”. Several boys by the window immediately shouted to another boy who happened to be outside to destroy it. Despite the outside boy not being a member of that class, or even aware of what was going on, he immediately went to the video and stamped on it until it was in pieces, such was our collective understanding of ‘us’ versus ‘them’ - he literally didn’t hesitate. They sent a letter home to all the parents of the class, but to this day never found out who the phantom porno belonged to

The time the class clown walked into the room before the teacher, picked up a chair and chucked it at another student unprovoked. A teaching assistant/1-2-1 for another student in the class turned to me (a student) and said "shouldn't someone do something". She then told the teacher when she finally arrived in the room, who literally did nothing. This was a GCSE RE class being taught by a drama teacher. Fun fact: the teacher was well known for liking her drink and is the mother of an emmy-award winning actress 🤣

In primary school my mum gave me a pain au chocolat in one of those plastic packets from Iceland for lunch, and when I started to eat it, it tasted a little weird so I looked down at it, and it was all green and yellow inside I didn't think anything of it, and so I continued to eat the entire pain au chocolat vigorously. After lunch, it was reading time, and I was reading 'we're going on a bear hunt' with my bestie at the time, and we were both holding the book reading it together. We were in a queue to get into the music classroom, and one of my mates thought it was funny to keep poking me in the back. I turned and threatened him a few times, but he kept doing it at random intervals. So the next time I felt a touch on my shoulder, I turned and punched him. Hard. Right in the stomach. It wasn't my mate who touched me. It was the music teacher. He'd been working his way through the queue, and wanted me to move aside. When he got his wind back, he sent me to detention.

There was a cock up with my year 13 exam entry in one subject, our class had been entered for the wrong exam board. We all sat there looking through our exam booklets trying desperately to find our set of questions. We all came out of that exam crying, and eventually were given our predicted grades instead. I was in a real state because it was the subject I was planning to do for uni!
