How well would a "ID-COOLING SE-214-XT" or "Thermalright Assassin X120 Refined SE" cool a 5700x3D CPU?

Just bought a Ryzen 7 5700x3D CPU and was looking for coolers that are on the cheaper side but could keep it cool enough to not be a problem, since i hear these CPU's run quite hot compared to a lot of others out there, and stumbled upon these two which seem like a good price and seemingly enough to cool it but i'd like to make sure just in case I'm wrong.
I'd also be open to recommendations for coolers that could cool this CPU that are on the budget side. USD by the way.

Hey man, looking to buy a 214 xt, have gou gone with it? LMN :)

I ended up getting the assassin x120 se since it was a few dollars less and I heard it should hopefully keep it cool enough. I'm waiting on my CPU to get here so I can't really comment on how well it cools yet. But from what I can tell both seem pretty similar to each other in terms of cooling, but I am not a professional so take that comment with a grain of salt.

Any update on the cpu and assassin x120? asking because im getting the same setup.
Was it enough? what about heavy gaming?

It works well enough. It usually stays around probably 65-70 degrees when browsing and stuff and when gaming it stays around mid to high 70's. I don't believe i've ever seen it go over around 78 degrees whenever i've checked while gaming for hours. So it should be enough. But you should remember, the case and it's airflow can affect how cool the internals like the CPU gets so your mileage may vary.

It usually stays around probably 65-70 degrees when browsing and stuff why to high unless you have a 12 -16 core cpu

That’s still hot even browsing/idle? Ive seen a test shown that the 12600k run at ~75C 5.0ghz oc fullload in Cinebenchr23 test. Or it’s bcz your cooler fan run at low speed?

I'm not really sure. I checked my temps right now since I've been browsing for a bit and its around 45C. I'm not sure if i had just gotten back off a game or if the application I used was off (since I used Speccy then due to a recommendation of a friend before switching to Hwinfo). Im pretty sure the temps while gaming are accurate though since I used MSI Afterburner to see my CPU temp while gaming.

haha no problem man thanks for responding. I guess they perform the same, both are single fan and have 4 heatpipes. Thanks again :)

That CPU is easy to cool. I have a $35 Phantom Spirit on mine, it barely goes over 60. A single tower would be fine.
