If it went off like that when going under the sensors, you're supposed to pull to the shoulder of the on ramp for the weigh station, drop your trailer, then proceed through the scale bobtail and have someone else hook upto your trailer and proceed through the bypass lane so you can hook up to it again.

If the red was on the bottom and green on top, you'd drop the trailer on the shoulder and proceed through the bypass lane bobtail while someone else hooks up and runs your trailer across the scale and drops it on the other side for you.
