Windows 10 Won't Install, PC keeps Restarting, Help.

I just built a brand new pc and i'm trying to install windows 10 from Microsoft's Windows 10 Home USB to no avail. I must preface this by acknowledging that I am a PC building noob and so i'm going off instructions on the internet.
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 | GPU: Radeon RX500 XT | MOBO: B450 Tomahawk Max | SSD: Western Digital 500GB M.2 Nvme
Trying to install windows 10 as mentioned already and I am able to get to the boot menu, select "UEFI: KDI-MSFTWINDOWS 10 PMAP, Partition 1", and the page asking if I would like to install the 64bit or 32bit Windows setup. Upon selecting 64bit it begins to install, once the install bar is full, it displays the windows logo plus the spinning dots, my PC restarts and it brings me right back to the 64bit vs 32bit selection. Over and over and over
I have tried:
-
Setting the boot mode to UEFI only
-
Going into windows OS configuration in the bios settings and switching it from CSM to UEFI mode
-
Prioritizing the UEFI hard disk, however, i'm not sure whether or not this is my M.2 drive
-
Prioritizing the UEFI: KDI-MSFTWindows 10 PMAP, Partition 1
-
Removing and reinserting the M.2 Drive
-
Turning the computer off and on again
After doing all these things the problem still persists, it restarts the PC after "installing" and then brings me back to the 64bit vs 32bit page.
I'm hoping it's as simple as adjusting one of the settings in the Bios, otherwise i'll be cheesed that I went out of my way to buy the Windows 10 USB through official channels and it still put me through such a hassle.
EDIT: Solved, I guess if you're ever in this situation and you feel like you've tried everything, check if one of your RAM cards is faulty by attempting to install windows with each one.
I tried one RAM card and I finally was able to get to the page where you enter the product key.
Then I tried the other RAM card and all the issues I described above happened.
End result, I was able to install windows 10 but i'll need to purchase a new second RAM card.

Remove the installation disk when it restarts.

What will happen?

It seems like its booting from the installation media instead of the ssd. Removing the windows installation disk when it restarts will force it to boot from the ssd. Once it's at that first reboot point, everything windows needs to finish the installation is already on the drive.

Had the exact same issue and I think this fixed said issue

The issue is that you're forcing the USB stick as the main boot drive by doing it in the BIOS. This is a common thing I've seen on this sub. What you need to do is select it via the boot menu (F11 on MSI boards). That will set it temporarily as the main boot drive, then you format/install the OS, and finally it will make your SSD as the main boot drive thereafter.

Here in 2025. I come only to Say thank You. Today You helped me. I changed my entire setup, and there was no way to install Windows because it always rebooted. I had forced it to boot from the USB. I changed that, and the problem was solved. I hope You have a great day

I know this is an old thread, but I had this exact problem on my MSI laptop when trying to install win 11.
I went and formatted the drive that I was trying to install windows on and it fixed it for me.
