Newbie tried installing new ram bricked pc

hi i installed a new pair of ram Motherboard is asus prime h310m-ar 2.0 new rams corsair 2 x 16gb DDR4 3600 First i went into bios and made sure XMP was off Then unplugged power cable Discharged the psu Changed rams It opened to bios, i enabled xmp and switched to DDR4 and then i heard 1 long beep 2 short beeps After that I restarted and went back to bios, i then reverted everything to default which let the pc boot properly. Then i went to check ram installed and it only showed 16gb total 1 of 2 slots. I replugged all ram , went back to bios, changed to just DDR4 3600 and launched. This is when the 1 long 2 short beeps resumed. I then tried getting back to bios but the pc would boot straight into the beeping. I cannot get back to bios to change DDR4 3600 in any way. I have tried replacing okd ram and shorting CMOS. Please help :(
