I’m not sure. I’m guessing it is up for interpretation like a lot of Muslim laws, similar to Christians with the exception of Mormons and catholics, there isn’t a central muslim church. So I’m sure it depends on who you ask. I would think so but also the container thing is a tradition and might be easier than a bidet considering you have more control I only knew this was even a thing because when I worked in an office at a warehouse the bathrooms would be TRASHED with empty styrofoam cups and water all of the floor and someone told me about this and I looked it up too Edit: also, Muslims are supposed to pray 5 times a day, they’re also supposed to not drink or smoke I believe. They’re also not supposed to eat pork. You’ll often hear Muslims say they don’t eat pork but they smoke or drink (more Americanized ones). Some of those “Muslims” that are Muslim in name are like Christians who say they’re Christian but don’t go to church or act like it. It’s a pretty diverse religion in terms of church version and levels of commitment. So keep that in mind too. Just because someone is Muslim doesn’t mean they practice any of this. But usually they’ll never eat pork, for some reason that’s like the cardinal sin. I had a friend that was Muslim and they had one of those containers in their bathroom as like decoration or tradition but it wasn’t actually used
